. Fit is a bit hard, but that's on the HyperX's design not the manufacturer of the replacement parts. I went from busted headset to operational in about 10 minutes of work. Manufacturing is solid and in terms of mechanical compatibility for cloud IIs, it seems to be 1:1 with OEM.

The plastic pieces included are not compatible with the original brackets shipped with the headphones and do require the complete removal of the original brackets. The overall fit is snug and perfect, exactly replacing the originals. However, one of the bracket pieces wraps around the headphone wire, making a full removal a bit more complicated. The recommend way to remove the pieces involves removing the earpieces and undoing the soldering to remove the wire and therefore the plastic. This isn't the fault of the replacement brackets, of course, but it is something you should bear in mind if you're replacing your worn down brackets.

This s a great little kit. Open it up pull off the old part and the new one o Less than 5 minutes start yo finish. Its worth the price just to get everything you need in one place. I'll buy another one when the other side breaks!
