Best cleaning elf that works while I sleep!!!
I don't normally write reviews. We had our first robot vac probably 12 years ago. It did not work well at all. This Dreame Bot X30 Ultra is the best purchase we have made in a long time. Technology can be overwhelming to me sometimes but this truly was easy to set up and start using. Follow the Before Use instructions, download the app, connect device with wifi, allow it to fully charge and then hit the Mapping button on the phone app and let it map out your house!! My wood floors shine every morning after it runs while we sleep. I typically run it every other night and I let it vacuum first and then come back and mop. The mop does an amazing job. Most mop vacs have a large pad on the entire bottom that just goes over your floors. The Dreame has 2 spinning mop heads and I feel it does an amazing job. The first time it cleaned my floors, it returned to the base station, cleaned the mop heads, dumped the dirty water and reloaded with hot, fresh water, a total of 5 times to get my floors clean. The dirty water was about 7" high in the brown dirty water container. Now, the dirty water is only about 1-2" every time since it mops every other night. We have an Australian Shepherd puppy. She is about 9 months old and has long hair. She does not shed alot, but she does shed. I have shoulder length hair and it ends up everywhere on the floors. The Dreame gets up everything and has had no issues with dog or human hair getting wrapped around the roller head. I bought the roller that is made to work better for not clogging from hair. I should return it, as the standard roller has had zero problems with hairs staying on the brush roller. A side bonus is that it helps me keep the house picked up and things off the floor. I reviewed many vacs before purchasing the DreameBot. I love it and am so glad I bought it!!

Big upgrade from my Roomba
Had a iRobot Roomba i7. Can't say I was unhappy with it, it picked up a lot of dirt and dust from my combination of hardwood, travertine, granite and rugs. Since most of my house is hard floors, I wanted to upgrade to a mopping robot vac. Did some research and decide to go with Dreame X30. I decided prior to it being released and most of the online reviews were not from people who paid for the product. Regardless, the X30 checked all the boxes and the previous Dreame products seemed to be well regarded. Only issues I read about were related to tech support. But I usually discount those reviews as only unhappy customers write those. Back to the actual product. Received the X30 via UPS. Much bigger box than I expected and the whole unit is larger than I expected. Setting it up was a breeze. I mean, seriously, could not have been easier. The app is fairly straightforward but does have A LOT more options than my Roomba did. After getting it plugged in a set up, I had it run a mapping cycle. Very fast map of the house created. I used to app to edit the room names, made some adjustments (very minor where it mapped outside of a glass sliding door). During the process, I noticed two things: 1) It didn't bump into walls. Roomba seemed to navigate based on bumping into everything and adjusting its path. The X30 got right up to the edge and didn't bump. Huge win for the X30. 2) The unit is so much quieter than the Roomba. With Roomba it seemed I couldn't run it if anyone was home. You can't talk on the phone or watch tv at a normal volume when the Roomba was close by. With the X30, it could be working right next to you and wouldn't bother you. Maybe it will, with time, as the contrast with the Roomba is a distant memory, it might seem loud. 3) It is able to clean the whole house in one charge. That was impossible with the Roomba. Roomba would recharge over and over again. Cleaning the house turned into a 5 hour process. Just when you think it is done, it starts up again. So all in all, the X30 probably cost twice as much than my Roomba when I originally bought it, but it is way more than twice the machine. One tip is to buy the extended warranty. Just for the piece of mind, if nothing else. I've read that if the unit fails, it is a long process to get a replacement. Easier to just spend a couple extra $$ and rest easy. Easy to recommend this product. I've also purchased the optional brush that takes care of hair tangles. I didn't mention that above as it is an extra purchase. But dog and daughter hair really clogged the Roomba and have no issues with that problem with the X30.

What a dream! Update: PIECE OF JUNK!
Update: Not long after I submitted this review (about a month later) the vacuum started to fail. It started going in circles and going nowhere. Several times it stops saying it is blocked with nothing around it. It also gets lost ALOT. I am so SAD. I contacted the company and after over a month of back and forth it took forever for someone to believe me there was an issue. Finally, they sent me a label, but I had to find a box and packaging to ship it as they would not cover it and I had already got rid of the original packaging as I did not think I would be using it again. They had me send it ENTIRE thing back, kept it for over a month, and when got it back, it SMELLS LIKE TRASH, was scratched up, the lights no longer work, and it is doing the same thing. That was a complete waste of my time and MORE money. I have tried and tried to use it but get more mad each time and it still STINKS! I am so sorry that I ever wrote this review. DO NOT BUY THIS THING - YOU WILL REGRET IT! I have been using this vac/mop for almost a month now and I find it a time saver - which is exactly why I purchased it. I have a dog and was having to vacuum and mop all of the time. This now takes care of that and I have my time back. It does a great job. I did take some time to go thru the app, and set it up as I wanted (there are tons of options) - and some you will want on (IE: Carpet Boost, Auto -Add detergent, and Mop-Extend) and use the clean genius - this thing gets smarter and after a short amount of time, does a better and better job. It mapped out my home in 5 minutes and was very accurate. It is expensive - but I have so much time back it was well worth it!

Absolutely awesome machine!
Our floors haven't been this clean since they were new. Caveat - There is so much this machine can do, so many settings, that it will take some time to get everything set up the way you want it. If you are willing to let it do it's thing, it's own way, you should not have any problems. Love the mopping feature. It figures out where the bare floors and carpets are by itself. We had one before that would mop, but it was so messy to set up and clean afterwards, it was not worth the trouble. The X30 is Amazing. All we have to do is fill the clean water, empty, rinse and replace the dirty water tank. cleaning solution lasts a long time for us. It will depend on how often you mop, though. Vacuum is not as loud as my previous one. Works much better. Be aware that every time it returns to the dock, it says "Charging". It may just be emptying, refilling, dropping or picking up mop pads, though. It is not truly charging all those times. It does empty fairly often. I take that as a sign it is doing a good job cleaning.

Good robot vac
So having had 2 other robot vacs in the past I like this one. It has fast mapping feature whick competed mapping the hose 3,000. sq foot in about 35 minutes. The I robot I had before took almost 6 houirs. I really appreciate the combo of vac first and then mop as an option. It as all the other common features like label areas, obstacle avoidance and no go zones. What I was surprised you could not do was schedule a routine. Also, although it cleans the mop pads as described you can not do auto tank refill or empty as described in website. You have to buy a separate kit only available in some locations. Of course you would need to plumb for that feature but if you are setting up in laundry room should not be that difficult. I unfortunately do not live in the geographic area where the kits can be purchased, hence the 4 star review

A Game-Changer for Deep Cleaning – Dreame X30 Ultra Exceeds Expectations!
I recently purchased the Dreame X30 Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, and I’m absolutely thrilled with its performance. From suction power to intelligent cleaning, this robot does it all and more. Suction Power: The 8300Pa suction is beyond impressive. It easily picks up dirt, dust, and pet hair even in hard-to-reach corners. My carpets have never looked so clean, and it handles hard floors just as well. Mop Feature: The mop function is a standout feature. The removable and liftable mop makes it versatile for both vacuuming and mopping without missing a beat. The self-cleaning and drying system is a lifesaver, ensuring the mop is hygienic after each use, and the 140°F water feature really boosts cleaning efficiency. I love that it also self-refills, meaning less hassle for me. Smart Carpet Cleaning: It’s smart enough to detect carpets and adjust accordingly, lifting the mop and boosting suction when needed. This is a perfect solution for homes with mixed flooring. Convenience: With mop extend and self-cleaning, I don’t have to worry about constantly emptying water tanks or scrubbing the mop. It makes daily cleaning virtually hands-free. Overall, the Dreame X30 Ultra has simplified my cleaning routine dramatically. It’s an investment, but worth every penny for the time and effort it saves. Highly recommend!

The new cleaning master robot
I have severe OCD when it comes to trying to technology, especially when we are talking about robot vacuums. This is the the fourth robot vacuum that I’ve purchased. I started with the eufy X9 Pro, settled in on the Roborock S8 Pro ultra and also tried the Dreame L20 ultra. This one tops them all. Let’s start with the good. I love the new dock and how compact it is. The robot was super easy to set up. It mapped my house in less than ten minutes. After I let it charge fully, I set it to do a deep cleaning of the house. Mind you, I’d sent the S8 pro ultra out just the day before. The x30 took a little over five hours to clean my house, but I was extremely impressed by how well it cleaned. Tomorrow I’ll set it to a normal run, just to see how it fares. Love the hot mop washing and self emptying capabilities, which the x9 pro didn’t have. I very much like the spinning mops compared to the vibration style that the Roborock uses. That said, I think the x9 pro put more pressure on the floor. I couldn’t compare cleaning prowess, though. The app can be a bit convoluted. I turned on features that slowed the robot down significantly but that were supposed to yield better cleaning. I’m not sure the additional time spent trying to clean around my chairs was worth it. Well done Dreame. Now if you could just do better when people order from your website, we’d be in business. The bad: if the robot should fail, don’t expect any help from Dreame. Nothing you do will escalate your issues. I know this because of my previous experience with the company. Robot great… customer service, not so much.

Awesome when it works, but it isn't built to last.
This robot is really good, cleans well and mops decently. The intelligent features and everything are just awesome. The only problem is that it isn't built to last and customer service is slow. I purchased this in February 2024 and it worked flawlessly until one day i noticed that it couldn't move. Turns out that the center wheel got a crack and it was falling out. This was 4 months of daily use. I contact Dreame and it seemed to be easy enough, but DO NOT THROW AWAY THE BOX as their instructions state it has to be shipped to them for repair in original box. Luckily i kept it, but i know some people will throw theirs out. Anyways, after they received my robot, contact went silent and i never got any updates on what was going on, after sending them daily emails they answered me and they do not know what is going on either. after a lot of complaining and time (2 months) they just decided to send me a brand new robot. Again worked flawlessly, but now the water will not drain and the sensor isn't working so there is a puddle of water after each use around the base station. Contacted customer service and is being sent to them again. This happened after 3 months of daily use. I fear that this is the expectation of the robot.
