I've become hooked on boba but the kits I got at the store were to much money to keep up. I tried to make my own at home but I couldn't seem to get it right so I ordered this. The directions are super simple the pearls are a good size. I actually like that they don't have flavor because I can add what ever I want to them. They cook well just make sure to add at least 3x the water to peals or it gets gummy on you like a syrup and won't cook right. I make big batches and put in the fridge. Once they get cold they firm up so I just heat them up for about 30 seconds every time I want a milk teat. I like this so much I ordered the larger size I think it's like 4 lbs I have. The bag doesn't reseal so I just store it in a freezer bag and keep in the freezer to keep the pearls fresh as it's been really hot lately so far it's been working great. I highly recommend this brand they are great and so simple and I have been using them in milk tea as well as iced coffee. I make 2 every day and probably put in two e the boba I need but it's good I can't help it. Mix the hot pearls with some brown sugar and keep in an air tight container in the fridge it's perfect!!

I'm obsessed with boba after moving to Tennessee there isn't a lot of good boba around. I love this brand. I boil for 5 minutes, simmer for 8 minutes, ice bath and then add in syrup for 10 minutes. Comes out perfect but I don't like mine too soft so may be too chewy for others. I don't find that it stays kept well in syrup in the fridge overnight it kind of got hard for me. I have to rehydrate for a few minutes in boiling water and add back to syrup but overall 10/10.

Ok well maybe not perfect. Whats perfect? lol These are excellent! Super easy to make, they taste great. The product is consistent throughout. I couldn't ask for a much better tapioca pearl. and 2.2lbs? Its a good deal!

These tapioca pearls cook really well. But I definitely don't think they have a brown sugar flavor at all. I rated it 4 stars because of this. They are just plain old tapioca pearls.
