The Muslim woman's handbook (Islamic Society) Paperback – March 1, 1994

I converted to islam 2019 and there was so much yet i didnt understand and know until i read this book. It helps as it was written by a convert. I loved it.

I am learning about islam. I love how she mentions other books at the end of each chapter. Helps me to get ideas on more to read. Love how informative the book is. Definitely an easy read.

It was a nice summary of what women need to know. Very straightforward and to the point. It was easy to understand.

This book was very informative. I would definitely recommend this to reverts. I learned so much and will definitely keep this book for reference. It was very easy to read.

I really wanted to like this book, but sadly it is full of traditions in Islam that were created by men for women and that are NOT in the Quran. It's time for Muslim women...especially if you are in the US...to actually use only the Quran for guidance on how to live. God blessed us with a brain...we need to use it too! I look forward to the day when Muslim women are not subjected to the traditions of men, because they continue to ignore Gods message. If Muslims would read and study the Quran for themselves and put only Gods message into their lives, they would discard the other books and traditions of men that serve them no good. I believe the author meant well by writing this book, but she should learn to use only the Quran for guidance.

I have the ebook. It contains some good information but there are sections like this which are completely inexcusable. This has no basis in Islam and normalizes abuse. I do not recommend that anyone read this book, especially a new revert.
