It took a while for the book to get to me in California, but it was well worth the wait. In the meantime, I listened to Dr. Rupy’s six episode podcast 2 or 3 times. The enthusiasm and authenticity in his voice is refreshing in a health world that is increasingly harder to navigate. The guests were knowledgeable and Dr. Rupy asked the appropriate questions. Real science-based studies were used as evidence throughout. Each time I listened I learned something new and grew more excited for the book.I received the book last night I have already read the first 30 pages. The layout is amazing. The introduction is written like a magazine article, which I believe makes the abundance of information easier to digest. Is is intriguing and the writing is immaculate. No mistakes or boring redundant information. It is obvious that Dr. Rupy spent a vast amount of time pulling together relevant research. The enthusiasm I heard in his podcast can also be felt in the writing, which is inspirational. The content is broken down beautifully and is easy to follow. My hope for this book is that doctors all over the world read it and adopt Rupy’s approach. Western medicine is amazing but food is medicine and nutrition is the foundation of health. The two should be used as one to help shape better health systems all over the world. I am so glad that Dr. Rupy dedicated his time, energy and love into this project. I cannot wait to finish reading the intro and to get started with the recipes. This will be a life changer for me.

Absolutely worth every penny
Absolutely love this book. Not only are the recipes amazing, but it totally taught me my own way of using ingredients that I use often, but not in a way that was nearly as delicious and healthy. It’s a recipe book but it’s also an incredible influence for creativity! Very much recommended.

Nice cooking book to have
Love the photos and all that encyclopedia type info on food in this book.The only problem, I don't cook. If I could, I would def make some good stuff from dinner section lolOn a serious note, most on the recipes are Indian cuisine inclined and require a lot of spices which is hard to get in the regular supermarket sometimes.

Love when healthy tastes good!!
The first recipe i prepared (photo above) was the Spicy Baked Eggs with Tomatoes and Chickpeas which turned out super delicious and full of flavor! More favorites are the Mushrooms and Purple Broccoli and the Sriracha Cauliflower bites, just to name a few. I have countless cookbooks so I am picky as to which ones I'll give shelf space- this one by Dr. Aujla is a keeper!

Not 100 easy everyday recipes
Sorry, big waste of money. 100 everyday recipes??? Haven't even heard of half the ingredients. Didn't see one recipe I would even try.

Wonderful cookbook with unusual and delicious recipes! Healthy, healing, and delicious! Head to your local spice market to pick up some of the exotic ingredients he uses and enjoy the experience of eating your way to better health!

Good recipes / not vegan
I like many of the receipts but this book is not plant based as I initially thought it was. It’s also NOT SOS free... I doctor on them happy pear’ Wichita is a vegan cooking show.So I can only use some of the recipes ... the vegan ones

Really opened my eyes and made me passionate about food & cooking
i've been struggling lately with trying to eat healthily. I love food, I like cooking and I like eating it. i'm always saying I wish I knew better how to cook tasty foods and have more knowledge on what herbs & spices to put in things and also i'm always interested in the different benefits of eating certain herbs, spices, vegetables and fruits. This book gives you all of this info in a very interesting way. There's no bullshi* about it. It's an honest & passionate book by someone who clearly loves food and loves the benefits we can get from it. it's totally opened my eyes to the amazing benefits we can get from just eating simple, tasty and wholesome food and I find myself looking at food differently now when I'm shopping. I also bought a box of organic spices so that iwould have a full spice rack ready so i can start trying out all the recipes. If yo'ure looking for a book that's not about dieting but just about eating properly and healthily and being more aware of the benefits in our food then this is the book for you.

The best ‘clean eating’ cookbook I own
Simply brilliant! Such simple yet absolutely delicious recipes which really make you feel nourished. The recipes are so easy to adapt too if you haven’t got the stipulated ingredients to hand. I own a lot of clean eating cookbooks and this is by far the best

this is a good book. But
If your committed to changing your diet for health, this is a good book. But, you will need to be a competent cook, and source a lot of ingredients you're not used to.

Food is truly medicinal!
Worth buying this even if just to read the first 70 pages which helps you to feel much more informed about healthy food, what nutrients do and how to provide the best environment for your body to fight or manage illness or conditions.Have tried a few of the recipes and I nearly fainted when my 5 year old told me that his new favourite food is cauliflower after trying the soy roasted vegetables with ginger noodles recipe. Surprisingly delicious!

Great book
My husband and I loved this book. After many years of trying to convert my husband to healthier eating.....he gets it!Great recipes and you can adjust them to suit yourself easily. I love cooking and have learned a lot about Asian spices etc
