Truly Effective for Hot Flashes!
I've been using Remifemin Menopause Symptom Relief for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say it's made a big difference—especially when it comes to hot flashes. I was skeptical at first, but I started noticing a reduction in both the frequency and intensity of my hot flashes within the first couple of weeks. What I love most is that it's a natural, hormone-free supplement, so I feel good about taking it daily. It’s easy to incorporate into my routine, and I haven't experienced any negative side effects. If you're going through menopause and struggling with symptoms like hot flashes, I definitely recommend giving Remifemin a try. It worked great for me!

Hot flashes are gone
If you're having hot flashes do yourself a favor and buy them. They worked well enough for me that I suggested for my grandmother. They worked for her in a matter of days, for me it took a couple weeks but im doing so much better.

Lifesaver!
I was getting no sleep from the constant hot flashes throughout the night. I was super anxious and depressed which could have been from menopause or just that I could not sleep and was up for hours on end. I've been taking Remifemin for almost a month and it is a lifesaver! My hot flashes are practically gone, sometimes I get a little hot and throw the covers off, but it is nothing at all like what it was. I am so thankful my friend recommended this for me (because my doctor basically gave me a blank stare). Thank you Remifemin!!Update 2 months later: I am sad to say it stopped working and the hot flashes are back. : ( Contacted my gynecologist for a hormonal option.

Worked but not without side effects
In reading over past reviews for Remifemin, it truly reinforces for me how different every body reacts to drugs, and yes, herbal remedies are drugs, even though they they’re not pharmaceuticals. My experience with previously treating extreme hot flashes and night sweats on the hour every hour 24-7, was with bio identical estrogens and progesterone, which did nothing. Well, thats not entirely true, as they caused rapid weight gain which I wasn’t willing to deal with as a competitive athlete. An alternative for me was Cordyceps mushrooms, which worked beautifully (almost magically) for about 6 months, but then the hot flashes returned along with pre-flash anxiety attacks. After 3 months of dealing with THAT, my naturopath suggested Remifemin. I was sceptical but desperate (being sleep deprived does that) so I purchased them for what I considered a nominal price. The first night of taking the Remifemin, I had only 3 hot flashes and the following day was noticeably better as well.Every day showed a bit more improvement and now I’m down to zero hot flashes and suffice to say, my sleep is better. I also feel my mood is calmer but chalk that up (at least partially) to not being so sleep deprived. It’s not without negative side effects, however. I’m taking as directed, and have been experiencing some belly weight gain and swollen glands in my neck, as well as a lactic acid build up in my legs which is quite noticeable when climbing stairs. If I wasn’t an endurance athlete, I would probably overlook these side effects, but training is a big part of my life and it’s tough enough at the age of 55 without adding in additional challenges. My plan is to take one pill at night only and see if it cuts my side effects back, while holding my hot flashes at bay. Fingers crossed that it will be a good solution.

Have your liver enzymes checked!!
I took hormone replacement for 5 years which worked fantastic for my hot flashes and other menopause symptoms but decided to stop taking them due to a very high incidence of breast cancer in my family. I am a nurse practitioner student and thought I would try these Remifemin products because there is at least a very small amount of evidence that they are helpful (many herbal products have none!) I was using the day time product and sometimes the night time one too. My hot flashes and night sweats decreased noticeably, although they did not disappear completely like they did while taking estrogen/progesterone. I was content to continue taking them until I had some routine blood work done and found out my liver enzymes were elevated (meaning something was damaging my liver). I am not overweight, don't drink, and was taking no other medications or supplements. My hepatitis panel was negative - there was nothing else that would have been causing this. I stopped taking Remifemin immediately and had my labs rechecked 6 weeks later and they had returned to normal. As it turns out, there are many documented cases of Black Cohosh (the active ingredient in Remifemin) causing liver toxicity. We like to think that "natural" products are harmless & without risks, but that is simply not the case. If you are going to take this product on a regular basis (or any herbal product), I strongly suggest you have your liver enzymes checked after a month to make sure you are not damaging your liver.
