Apparently I have petite wrists, because I can never get a link watch that fits out of the box. I've had several nice watches I've been unable to wear for this reason. This tool took care of that! The plastic is gentle on the bands, the tool works great and is simple to use, and the cost was equal to having one watch resized by a professional jeweler. You'll want a small pair of pliers to pull out stiff links. Overall, a worthwhile purchase.

Worked well for resizing my son’s Seiko speedtimer. The adjustable platform allowed my to line up the pin hole with the pusher. Worth the price.

I went to the local mall and asked one of the three jewelry kiosks how much to resize a watch and was quoted $15, but the person needed to order "the kit." I Googled how much for a kit and discovered this one for a few bucks under $15. Needing an excuse to exercise my rusty mechanical skills, I chose this route as I'm not a fan of doing business at the mall. The watch I resized is a Citizen Women's Eco-Drive Dress Classic Crystal Bangle Watch. The watch band is very skinny and I was not able to use the vice part of the kit to push the link pins out. I had to use the smallest size punch and hammer. For this process the product worked flawlessly. I did use a little bit of masking tape for protecting the watch and it also aided in keeping the link pin centered on the hole of the plastic base slot. Using little taps, the link pin began to make its way through the hole and out the other side. It was effective and surprisingly enjoyable with a great dopamine release as the pin was pushed all the way through. My significant other has very petite wrists and I was able to size the watch just fine. Product quality is acceptable for this one-off resizing adventure, but remember: Treat plastic like it's made out of paper, metal like it's made out of plastic, and you'll do just fine.

This little gadget is amazing! I was skeptical, but the directions are simple, it’s well-made and sturdy, and it comes with sooo many different pieces so you can absolutely customize to the extent necessary. In under 10 minutes, the watch I bought last-minute for an event was perfect for my wrist. I promise, if I can figure it out so easily, so can anyone :)

This comes in a zip lock style bag to keep it all together when not in use. Functionally, it feels a little flimsy. However it performed absolutely perfect. Seems I have a watch band adjusted ever few years. So, for me this had good easy to understand instructions. Was easy to use, and will be all together in its bag next time I need to adjust a watch band. I should mention, I have never adjusted a watch band. Seems it was always done for free, or maybe $5-$10 at my local watch shop. This time I took the new watch in that needed a battery. And paid $40 for that battery. Then told another $35 to adjust the Band. Nope, I will do it myself for now on.

Buy cheap, buy twice. The tool is super simple to use and will likely work on most watches, but if you have a watch with pins that are more difficult to get out, you'll run into issues. I spent an hour trying to remove the links on my Men's 1326 Invicta II Chronograph Stainless Steel Watch and ended up giving up after going through all of the cheap replacement pin removal heads provided. Some links came off easily, and the product worked great, but the stuck ones consistently bent and broke the pin removers until I was out of replacements. I wish I had bought something of higher quality to save me the hassle of having to buy an additional kit. It's worth a shot buying this kit, but you're taking a chance.

I don't write reviews but had to for this. Simple design and works very well, the adjustable platform is a game changer. I was having a lot of trouble pushing links out of one of my straps, with this they popped out with very little effort. Yes it's made of mostly plastic but I also don't see how it would break if you are using it correctly & aligning the pin properly (which, again, is super easy with the adjustable platform). Great product, and at this price point it's astounding value.
