I was worried how much thickness this seat cushion may add as it may impact my driving position and force me to do seat adjustments every time I use it. Turns out it is really thin, half an inch or such when sitting on it. The fans that are so prominently pictured in the product page are not visible at all, but can be heard on each of the speed steps, not really silent. The fans seem to draw air in, and the air escapes through the larger surface of the cushion. There are no instructions, but one of the product pictures shows this cushion placed on a car seat with the fan line at the rear, so that is how this is supposed to be used. I plugged the USB cable into a power plug multiplier from the cigarette lighter and it works on all speed steps without a hitch. Definitely feeling the air circulation, especially before the car warms up – I got this in the winter. Looking forward for the added comfort this provides in the summer. My only concern is how durable this may be, the airy material may or may not take well the daily commuting abuse. But so far, all good.

Works pretty good for the price.

I ran the power from a 2A-5V USB port built into the center console of my ride, and it kept tripping out on Medium and High speed. Ran it into a 3A-5V adapter and all three speeds worked well. It does generate a noticeable cooling effect, just make sure it gets enough power.
