Lace Flower Silicone Mold Fondant Cake Decoration Baking Tool Mould (Pearl necklace)

I'm really happy with this mould. It took a few goes to get the hang of it but after a few tries I was making long uniform strings of fondant pearls. I found that dusting the mould with a lustre dust worked better than cornflour and prising the mould apart to get them out was more effective than applying pressure from the back of the mould. You also need to ensure all excess icing is sliced off the back of the pearls with a fondant knife before you get them out. No need to pop them in the freezer or wait for them to dry.

I had trouble at first but have found if you put the fondant in the mood,then put it in the freezer for 10 minutes it comes out really easy

Very nice product, took some getting used to removing the beads but well worth the effort. Would recommend

Not as easy to use as it looks. My wife is an avid cake decorator with lots of experience... but its so hard to get a decent product out of this. There is a technique for removing the pearls which involves rolling the mould back on itself... which takes some practice. You definitely need the right icing to use this successfully... normal fondant is just hit and miss

My wife likes this product. I no longer have to listen to her moaning about uneven balls!
