Good for men and women
I bought these for Christmas (two packs) and gifted to family and self. (Green socks are good luck!) I bought women’s socks in green too and they were not as vibrant. I returned those and bought more of these. These wash well too.

Immediate Holes in Toes!
Purchased these as a gift for a very particular son. First time he wore them, he loved the socks...second time he wore them he noticed a hole in one toe. Same thing happened with the blue pair I purchased. A week of holey toes!

Buy a Bigger Size + Perfect for Women Too
I'm not sure I know any man at this point in my life who would wear emerald green, lemon yellow, lipstick red, royal purple or any other brightly colored socks but if I did I would get these for him. As it is, I decided to get them for myself. I'm getting older so that means I don't anywhere near what I used to that I am dressed in a coordinated look. Socks like these are perfect for tennis shoes, athletic shoes, loafers and other casual footwear--and they will make you stand out. Plus, these feel really, really good on my feet.I actually checked three times to be sure they are cotton; they 95% that and 5% Lycra, the best percentage for comfort and stretch. I wear a women's size 11 or sometimes an 11.5 or even on occasion a 12 in footwear, and I like the toe area sufficiently wide for my own toes to lay naturally. (No pointy areas for me.) So I most often buy men's sizes in socks and athletic shoes because I can be assured that I have a wider range of sizes to choose from. (Going up is possible; going down not so much.) And as an internet page noted: There is an approximate 1.5 size difference between men's and women's shoe sizing (e.g., a men's size 7 is roughly equivalent to a women's size 8.5). Widths remain the same during conversion. So I assume this applies to socks too.I chose the larger one, hoping it wouldn't be too large and slide around or off my feet. No worries; they fit extremely well right out of the packaging. And after running them through a hot water wash and a hot dryer, the socks . . . remained perfect. They are snuggly, soft, supremely comfortable, stay up, are firm but not tight and well, they are excellent socks. I am accustomed to wearing thicker ones but some of my shoes require thinner for space needs and these suit admirably. As for the colors what can I say? They are gorgeous! I plan to get one set of each color even the orange. Since I do not allow shoes in the house cool and cold weather makes these the the funnest thing to wear around the house since, well, I can't remember when. They make me smile. And they make my feet happy, says I, who is delightedly wiggling her toes at the cats.Highly recommended!

Thin, stretchy nylon dress socks
These thin, stretchy nylon dress socks look great with slacks, and both blues add a little well needed color. They're somewhere in between pantyhose and tights quality but super soft.

Fine, comfortable, good quality sock
I never follow washing instructions on clothing--if it can't survive a thorough washing, I never buy it again. These socks held up beautifully to numerous washes including an extended load on hot, powdered oxygen bleach in one load, and vinegar in another, with no apparent damage, no fading of the black color, and no lessening of their soft stretchiness. These are wonderfully fine so that they could be worn even with dressy slacks and dress shoes.I should mention that I have soft water and use a very gentle soap, which tends to leave fabrics as soft as they day they are purchased. I've also learned not to leave socks in drawers or cabinets made of manufactured wood--even the ones that claim not to offgas much will ruin elastic. (Can't tell you how many pajamas had been ruined this way.) If you store this sock in a manufactured wood drawer, like a lot of products with elastic, I'd be concerned about it ruining the perfectly stretchy material, especially the band at the top. Now, I'm still giving these 5 stars for comfort, quality, fit, and the fine-ness of the yarns and knit, even though I'm not sure I believe they are 95% cotton and only 5% spandex. The stretch is just too strong and resilient. But the fabric is also very soft and breathable, and the yarns at least look like cotton. So I'm willing to be proven wrong--but I'm suspicious these days since so many manufacturers seem to be trying to pass off inferior blends as cotton (which they'll regret ultimately, I think, getting caught for something like that can ruin a company's reputation forever). I'm not saying that's happening here, only that it's a general concern these days. These socks may in fact simply be that well made. These are nice, fine, comfortable dress socks.
