2 Pack Metal Quick Release Buckles, 1.5 inch (38mm), Adjustable for Backpack Strap Replacement

I bought these because I've been curious about these, and my dad/fanny pack buckle broke so now I have a perfect reason. They're well-constructed, the clips/locks are robust but easy to disengage and operate (one-handed, even), and simple to install. Multiple ways to do so - for the time being I've simply passed the webbing through the double toggle on the receiver. Eventually I'll fold the webbing and stitch it to keep it from falling off. The one thing to really be aware of is that these are heavy. Can't swing the strap around or you could really hurt someone. For that reason I've considered just getting a plastic replacement but I use mine fairly hard so I'd rather have something more robust and this fits that bill perfectly.

These buckles are great repair items for other cheaply made nylon belts that are not well made. No tools needed and I have saved several belts from being thrown out.

I used these to replace a broken buckle on my Lacrosse waders. Lacrosse should start using these because I would pay the extra to have metal buckles rather than plastic.

These are very handy and beat and plastic piece of junk used to date. Have made 2 belts using these so far. Will probably order more soon.

Works pretty good with a stiffer belt material! Locks nice seems solid so far!

I got these to use in making a sci-fi cosplay outfit, and they are great. Heavy duty, an awesome futuristic look, and they latch smoothly and have a cool release mechanism. They are doing to make great crossed belts for my costume.
