Worth buying
I use it for a double end boxing bag setup. (It's not easy knotting and aligning right height sometimes) this pulley was the answer.... Locks in place and easy to release and set up for different heights...hooks sturdy and enough length of rope.

Great product!
We use these to tie our kayaks in the bed of our truck. They are awesome - easy to use, easy to tighten, and easy to release when you want to take them off.

easy to secure your kayaks
got these to hold my kayaks in the back of the pickup so I didn't have to tie them down with baling twine or the variety of bungie cords that my husband has found along the side of the road. They work great! Easy to use, don't have to have a lot of upper body strength or fancy knot tying ability, just push the button to loosen, lengthen the cord, attach one end to the kayak and one to the truck, and pull to tighten. The kayaks won't wiggle even at highway speeds. Push the button and loosen to easily release the kayaks. Small and portable, as our fleet expands will be purchasing more of these

Love These
I love these Rope Ratchets. I use them for hanging poultry waterers, drinkers, and heat lamps. They allow EASY height adjustment as the chicks grow versus re-tying a knot every time. They are high quality. I don't understand the negative reviews. Coated metal hook is real nice and mechanism works great. You have to keep in mind they make different rope diameter sizes of these. These are the smallest at 1/8" rope and 75 lbs. break strength. I think some people buy an undersized unit and are then unhappy with it. I hang a 6 gallon waterer which would weigh 50 lbs. and this supports that no problem.

Easy to use tie down
These locking tie downs are great. The ratcheting part of the ProGrip holds tight and makes it easy to cinch the rope. I use two of these to tie down the front and back of my kayak. The front one works well with a Sherpak Hood Loop. I also use two ProGrips to hoist my 12' kayak to the ceiling of my garage. With the locking mechanism, it's easy to alternate pulling the ropes to raise the kayak. What was once a two-person job, I now can do alone. These come in different sizes to fit the bill for various jobs. The 1/4" inch ropes do well for tying down a kayak bow and stern.

Very slick!
Used to put up, take down and adjust the tension on double end and slip bags and connect to a heavy bag sand filled anchor bag. Very easy and quick to operate, durable and relatively lightweight. I'm sure it has a thousand other practical uses. It suits mines perfectly.
