Linksys Mesh WiFi 6 Router | Connect 35+ Devices | Up to 2,700 Sq Ft | Speeds of up to 5.4 Gbps | LN3121-AMZ | 2024 Release

I purchased the Linksys LN3121-AMZ WiFi 6 Mesh Router, as a replacement for an older Linksys router. The older router still worked good, but it is WiFi 5 and 3 years old, so I thought it was time to replace it.I installed the new Linksys LN3121-AMZ router as soon as I got it, and was ready to set it up. But when I plugged in the power cord, it wouldn’t come on. I tried the power switch on the back thinking maybe it was in the off position, but that didn’t work either. I even disconnected everything and tried plugging it into a different socket, but it still didn’t come on.At that point I knew there was something wrong with the router itself, so I got on Amazon, and set up a return. I decided to go with a replacement, and give it another chance.Amazon sent the replacement out right away, at no charge. And as soon as I got it I plugged it in first, to make sure it came on. It did so I installed it, then used the Linksys app on my iPhone to set it up. It worked fine at first, but then it started loosing the internet connection. I also had problems with some websites loading, and one of them was my own site.So I used the web interface, and proceeded to go through each and every setup page, comparing them to the screenshots I have, of my old router settings. I eventually came across a couple that were different, so I changed them to match the old router. And as soon as I did, all the website stated loading again.The setting I think was causing the problems, was the MTU size setting, under the Connectivity > Internet Settings tab. But whatever the cause I got it, and it’s been working fine ever since, without any issues at all.Even though I had a problem with the first one I received, (which can happen with anything you buy) this is really a good router. It's much faster than my previous router, and the WiFi coverage is incredible. It hasn't lost a connection once since I made the setting changes, and I'm glad I gave it another chance.

Highly recommend the Hyrdra Pro 6 over the standard Hydra Wi-Fi router as the Pro has much better coverage throughout the household as well as better stability. We had previously (inadvertently) ordered the standard Hydra 6 router and were extremely disappointed with its performance and returned it for the Pro. Much better choice. This router has a very low profile and is very easy to setup. Highly recommended!

[This is a review for 2022 Linksys Hydra Pro 6 Mesh WiFi 6 Router]It was time to upgrade from WiFi 5 router that was showing its age. From the moment I set up this router it felt different: it provided excellent coverage around the house - in every room and on each floor. It provided consistent signal strength with no dead spots and excellent speed.I've used it for a month and decided it to keep it as it provided stable connection and didn't need to be rebooted.One downside is that the Linksys app can be a bit finicky: when renaming connected devices it freezes 50% of the time which is annoying. In most other scenarios it works fine, but could be a bit slow. Not a deal breaker and most people will only use app to set it up once.Over the past year I've tried several routers from Google, Eero, TP-Link, Netgear and Asus. All of these routers were noticeably worse in coverage and speed compared to this Linksys. Asus was close but download/upload speeds were inconsistent, it did have a much better app though.However, I still decided to give this router 5 stars despite finicky app to reflect router's excellent speed, coverage and stability. I got it on sale for $70 plus tax and shipping which is a fantastic value.As long as this router continues to be stable and secure, it will be a fantastic value. Buy it with no hesitation, you won't be disappointed.

Setup is done through a smartphone app ONLY! There is no direct access to the router with a GUI. I think that is not ideal in some situations. If you have a smartphone with internet access it works fine.The router signal is great. It connected easily with a Wyze Cam that is 100 feet away in a garage.So far I would recommend this. I will report back in 6 months or so.

Had this LN3121-AMZ unit for about 4 months now. I'm looking to replace this unit. I only have a 1,400 sq ft house. But each end of house is awful, no matter where I put the unit. Also me Ring camera systems seems to time missing when I go back into viewing time. Never had that before. I can go on and on about all the odd things that happens. Even bought a WiFi extender, but they are junk. Funny, when I run the speed test using it's own app on my phone. Super fast. But if I use like fast.com or any other speed test programs, they show what it truly is. Sure in the middle of the house it's almost 600mbps. But outer it's like 23mbps. And trust me, I tried everything. Sigh

Massive range and great value for the money. My old router became out dated for the new generation of internet. While also not being enough range to reach my living room smart tv. With this router, I have not had any connection issues anywhere in the house for almost a year!

with support it was easy to set up and they were happy to help me.. The Wi-Fi has great range it covers my whole big Yard and house.. With it in the middle of my 4000 Sq Ft house.. I can stream TV in the media room at the far end of the house
