Pretty amazing!
First batch, simple recipe, this machine is amazing!! I was using the old freeze the bowl ice cream maker and saw this one. Had to have it. Not disappointed at all. This thing froze the cream in about 30 mins. Added oreo's to the mix and the mixture bulked up. Just incredible taste and texture. So far so good!!

Great buy
Excellent for making your home recipes of ice cream. This machine includes instructions that makes it easy to use. Ice cream has good consistency and excellent taste. Larger capacity than most makers.

It works!
This product is incredibly easy to use and delivers excellent results. The recipe provides the perfect portion, and in just 36 minutes, the ice cream is ready—smooth, creamy, and delicious. The machine operates with minimal noise, and the temperature is conveniently displayed on the dashboard while it spins. There's no need to pre-freeze the bowl, which adds to its convenience. It's unfortunate that we can't trace the origins of the product or identify its inventor and owner. We’ll have to wait and see how it performs in the long term.

Great ice cream maker
Simple design, great results! The only issue is it’s difficult to scoop out the ice cream.

Convenient and tasty
It's super easy to use, and I've had so much fun experimenting with different frozen treats. My absolute favorite thing to make with it is sorbet, it's fruity, refreshing, and takes fewer ingredients than traditional ice cream. Plus, it's a great way to use up any extra fruit I have lying around. One of the best features is how quickly it churns out delicious frozen desserts. Within minutes, I have a batch of creamy, smooth goodness ready to enjoy. The clean-up is a breeze too, which is always a bonus in my book. The machine is also surprisingly quiet, so I can whip up a batch of sorbet without disturbing the whole house.

Best use of CC points
As of now this is a great purchase. I got it on a Monday and started using it on a Tuesday with joy giving results. First the packing on this item is very good with extra supports and foam in the manufactures box so it should do well with tumbling during shipment. Second the controls are simple and limited so there is no choice overload on what to choose and options to select. Third the base recipes in the owner's manual are an interesting selection, but give a good idea of what the base should consist of before adding flavors. We have used the custard like base with 3 egg yolks and it has a great texture and stiffness when it first finishes. If you want it firmer you can use the cooling setting after the initial churning is done to let it thicken. The bowl is a snug fit and has some suction on it when trying to pull it out at room temperature so it will probably be stuck for a few minutes after the batch is done which is not a problem just something to be aware of. If you want cheap flavoring kool-aid packs are a good choice the cherry one with a few maraschino cherrys added turned out a good treat. Just a reminder for anyone getting this it uses the same hardware as a fridge or freezer so you shouldn't use it right out of the box as much as you want to get making. It is wise to let it sit upright for up to 24 hours so the coolant can settle back into its proper place and prevent disappointment from the unit not cooling properly or prematurely burning out.

The Machine Failed. It Stopped Working After Four Times
My fourth time making ice cream..10 minutes in the metal bowl stopped rotating. And I noticed a heavy accumulation of the ice cream on the sides..NOT GOOD....Then i emptied the contents out and put them back in the fridge...I unplugged it then gave it a good 20 minutes. I started again at 30 minutes this time and within 15 minutes it looked done. So then what happened next the ice cream was caked onto the sides again of the metal bowl and then the metal bowl itself was frozen solid to the receptacle and would not come out..I had another batch ready to go so i tried again. Let is sit unplugged for an nour and started her up again. I did 35 minutes and it started out like it was going to work. At the 25 minute mark it stopped working again, and again, the ice cream was glued to the metal sides of the bow. And once again, the metal bowl was frozen to the machine and would not com out. I salvaged what I could and scraped the sides. But then both batches the machine ruined anyway, after i put them in the freezer , they turned hard as a rock. I did not have this problem the first four times with the same exact recipes..I go to their website and the support link does not work.I never took out the warrant y as I did not expect this crappy machine to die on me after only four uses.. Now i have to try through amazon to let them know it died on me.And .I now have to look for another brand to try....Finally, after working with Amazon the company reached out and were very nice in offering me a full refund. As nice as this was, I an still without a reliable ice cream maker..

Good ice cream maker - but I can't find a place to buy additional parts as Couplux.shop doesn't work
The ice cream I've made with this ice cream maker is excellent and it is very easy to use. My only concern is that I can't find a place to buy an additional paddle and mixing bowl. I am assuming that at some point the plastic paddle will wear out and will need to be replaced. It would be nice (faster) to have an additional mixing bowl to use when making more than one type of ice cream. F.Y.I. - I've used powdered egg yolks in my ice cream recipes and it works great - and saves time by not having to temper the liquid egg mixture before using. Update: Hometone ICE-2581 is the same machine. They were willing to sell me an extra paddle and mixing bowl when I contacted their customer support. I have now made several wonderful batches of ice cream with this machine. The trick is learning how long to let the mixing process run, depending on the type of ice cream you are making. It is ALWAYS less than what the Couplux recipe book says. You'll also want to experiment with the amount of cream and milk - and the amount of add ins for specific flavors you are making. We love this machine.
