Good value, good size
I purchased these antivibration pads for quieten the AC unit on my camper. Since the unit is bolted to the ceiling, I am using them in a slightly different way than most might(under appliance feet). They are very stiff rubber, which should hold up to vibrations of heavy units for a while. The camper AC unit has had a buzz from loose mounting due to age, which wedging these pads between the mounts should prevent. There is a definate rubber smell, similar to some cheap rubber handelled tools I've purchased, but it doesn't smell up the room, like some others have suggested. And if it is like my other tools, the smell will only fade with time. These are worth the price.

Anti Vibration Pads
Can't tell if the anti-vibration feature works in my application since I installed it at initial installation - As several have mentioned the smell is very strong and un-pleasurable. My wife asked me to put the invoice that came in the package in the garage; it was permeated with the smell also. The good news is the smell eventually dissipated - took about a month. This would be unbearable if installed in the house for the first month.

Effective for our application.
We needed to isolate refrigerant lines where they passed over structural elements to prevent vibration being conducted into the structure. These pads worked excellently for us.

What Sprinkler Noise?
I just had my third lawn sprinkler installed and I decided to see if I could reduce the pump sound and vibration heard inside my home. The vibration pads were set in place under the new pump. On the initial start-up, I thought there was something wrong. There was hardly any sound from the pump, nor vibration into the concrete slab below it, yet water was spewing from every sprinkler head in the zone. Talk about shock and awe!! I can't tell which new device is responsible for the dramatic change, but I'm thankful for the result. Now, two months later, I still need to look out the window to see if my irrigation system is still on, instead of listening to it. ...Great product guys!

work well but can't get over how bad they smell
For anti-vibration/sound control, they seem to work well. However, I cannot stress how strong and unpleasant the smell of rubber is. If you touch them for a second, the smell transfers to your hand. If you have them in a small room, when you enter the room or sit down anywhere near them, the smell will get to you. I've soaked them in vinegar for a few days, left them outside, and tried murphy's soap oil. Nothing has helped. I may try to wrap them in plastic wrap then cover them up with a plain material "pocket" so the plastic wrap doesn't show. If that doesn't work, I'll give up and not use them inside the house. For outside, they should be fine.

Work well on the bottom of stabilizer foot pads
Added these to metal stabilizer feet on the RV. Nice and thick, help protect the metal foot pads from being scratched and rusting and also make a more secure contact to substrate. Highly recommend these rubber pads.

It works !
I was very skeptical but I have horrible whirlpool machines that shake like crazy. I finally installed these on the washing machine that likes to go for walks and it was really good! The machine still makes some sounds but the pads absorb most of the energy and the washer does move anymore.
