Work great for upgrading old Aerogardens with LED.

I have two Aerogaren 7s I haven't used in ages (probably more than a decade) and though these fit a bit looser than expected, they do the work and my plants seem to love the new A19 LED lights I got MORE than even the old CFL ones. It's also nice to be able to switch out different LEDs to match what I'd want to grow in them!

I was very disappointed that these didn’t fit my Ott Lamp. After calling Ott directly and learning that the replacement bulbs for my $200 lamp are no longer being made to fit, I researched the heck out of the options. Thankfully I still had the dead bulb to study. After trying some we found at Home Depot and others we found at Walmart, I came in here to check it out. There are so many different pin to hole positions I was almost overwhelmed. I finally found these and they don’t fit. I don’t know where they got the pictures, but they look EXACTLY like they’re the right ones …. But NO !! I don’t know if the pins are shorter or what, but nothing will illuminate in my lamp (and yes, I did check to make sure it was plugged in 😂) … I had to return these adapters. I was so upset I called the ott company back to fuss at them about it ! They said they had been informed by the manufacturer that they wouldn’t be making them anymore. Not Ott, the manufacturer ! Ott purchased every single one they had so they could sell them directly to the customer until they had another manufacturer set up to switch to. They couldn’t find a single one to make them for them. She said at one point they had almost 100,000 of them in their warehouse ! Sold out now, of course. She said the only option for me now is to take it to a lamp repair shop & have it re-wired ! If it weren’t the perfect one for my space, I would Never consider doing that . But …. ?? What else am I going to do ? I’m sure it would be cheaper than replacing the whole lamp, so I guess that’s what I’ll try next. Wish me luck !

The product works but yes, ballast has to be disconnected. It takes some time due to the nature of the electrical work but in the long run, it is definitely a great solution to install LED lights. I paired mine with Alexa so double the reward

I purchased this for an Aerogarden 7 a friend had given me. I wanted to use LEDs but was having trouble finding bulbs with the right socket. These have been working for 5 months now with no issues. I also tested my ancient Aerogarden Pro 100 and found the socket worked as well.

It worked fine for converting AeroGarden Pro100 from old bulbs to standard screw in grow bulbs. However, it arrived in USED condition in a bag that was sealed with a label at the top but cut open on the bottom, with half of converters bouncing around the box. 2 of them had obvious marks on plug side.

Great replacement for old aerogarden bulb. Bought with A19 grow bulbs. Item came rattle than expected. I'm very happy with purchase.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Returning this item because the pin length is too short. Specifications and product listing are silent about this dimension. Replacing a fluorescent plug-in lamp with this adapter and an LED lamp. The original lamp has a 7/16" long pin. This adapter comes with a 5/16" pin. Barely makes the coupling possible and the resulting connection doesn't hold firmly.

Purchased to convert my Aerogarden SS6 to LED lights. As another reviewer mentioned, the lights may not position properly when screwed in (ie face down). The lights worked fine with adapter and plants Are doing well. Out of the 5 in package, I got at least 2 to work well. So it's mostly trial and error. I suspect it may be a combination of both the lights threads position and adapters tread. Still useful and depending on LED grow light shape purchased, I can still work around it.
