Prima PHKP001 Small Photo Aluminium Tripod and Head Kit

These look a bit flimsy at firat but they’re always the ones that I use on every single shoot

I've been using Prima PHKP001 tripod for a year and happy with it. It is sturdy enough for outdoor shots (have not used it in a really strong wind). For home photography it is perfect and allows to photo almost anything or anybody in your home studio.Folded height of 60 cm makes it really portable, whereas the extended height of 145 cm opens new horizons for your outdoors photography. It is relatively cheap, but not on quality.

It's a solid tripod, I use it whenever I need to go out recording and is modular and easy to carry especially for the thing which I do. The main issue which I have is the tripod jamming causing it to be stuck in its spread position, before it used to do it every now and then but now its completely jammed. I've only had my tripod for 4 months as well, this is really annoying as I cant put it in its carrying bag and also due to it being fully spread out I cant move it in or up making tasks like photography and videoing really hard when wanting do film from a different angle.

This tripod seems to be well made and very sturdy, and is excellent value. I'm not sure that I'll ever use the hook at bottom of the centre column but who knows.

Looks and feels quite sturdy. I found the panning was just a touch jerky, so I turned the end-cap at the top with wide-nosed pliers and took it off, then removed the collar. I gave a light smudge of Vaseline on the tube and put it back, but not pressed down quite so much. It's ok now.
