Do yourself a favor: Ignore the directions
I traveled to see a friend who doesn't drink coffee, so it was a great excuse to try this product which I had seen on Shark Tank. Boiled down, yes, I would buy this product again for travel purposes.The design is decent as is the actual product. I intentionally bought the "black" (which does not come with the condensed sweetened milk).When you remove the pouch from the packaging, I suggest that you do NOT rip the top of the filter, exposing the grounds. Instead, fill your mug with near boiling hot water. Then take the two little cardboard handles (pinching them together over the filter) and dunk the filter up and down swiftly (like a tea bag) until you have the strength/darkness of coffee that you prefer. I did this and the filter was very strong, so grounds did not get into the coffee.I suggest making your cup of coffee this way for three reasons:1) this solves the issue that many reviewers stated: that the filtration process is too slow, making the coffee cold in the end2) this way, the filter itself doesn't hang down into your cup, taking up room that would normally have coffee in it3) this seems to be the easiest way to solve the issue of how to figure out how strong your coffee will beI enjoyed the coffee. It is smooth and not bitter. I added my own cream and sugar in my normal ratio and was pleased.

Taste strong enough...
This is a strong Vietnamese coffee which I think it is sooooo good. Since it is individual package, it's good and convenient for traveling. I highly recommend this product to all the coffee lover.

Interesting idea
First… once I got a sip the coffee was really nice. The only flaw is the way it’s not designed sturdy enough to not collapse down into the cup as you add water. It also seems to clog quickly and so you can’t brew a full cup. I liked the taste though. I’m sticking with my reusable pods.

Disappointing gift, and overpriced : * {
(heavy sigh) I was SO looking forward to this purchase! My husband is a big coffee fan, & so we thought this would be a great lil gift for his travel bag. So, we gave it a "test run" on a valentines' trip, & sadly, "<upside down exclamation point> no bueno!" flavor is probably the best point, but would only give flavor of this coffee a c+. We wasted two "coffee bags" just trying to get one cup of coffee: the "bags" do not fit tradtional coffee mugs, so grounds and hot water spilled everwhere; we both got burned, and ended up with a c+ flavor coffee drink full of grounds, and burnt fingers. Design not very practical or useful, & coffee not that great for the price. So not convenient at all, or flavorful: what is the point..? We wanted to love this; thought we had found a solution for coffee for travel, but this would sadly only work for a stay-put retiree, who has a lot of time on their hands to babysit each and every cup of coffee they would want to make with this, and be very watchful not to burn themselves, or spill grounds everywhere (the bag tips over in the mug, and spills out: hot water, & grounds everywhere-). Would also have to spend time ahead of time figuring out which mugs it may fit, so some wasted product/time/$ doing that also. Sad..,maybe redesign would save this, but for now, its an inconvenient hazard, and wouldnt have a retiree with even minimal dementia, or teen try this on their own; burn/frustration hazard as it currently exists.., : *^ [
