I wasn’t too sure about this topper. It came vacuum-sealed (which I expected) but once I fluffed it up, it didn’t seem that poofy. I knew I needed to give it time, so I did.I have slept on it a few nights and must say, it’s comfortable! I also am at the time in my life where I have hot flashes and have still had them but no more than usual (I was afraid it would add to them). I generally have left hip pain when sleeping on that side and it’s better with this topper on.I have a basic memory foam hybrid mattress underneath.I haven’t needed to launder it yet but if something comes up after that, I’ll update my review.

I've been sleeping on this for about a week now and it's pretty good. Very comfortable, I had to ditch my old foam topper and my mattress was suddenly very stiff, and this has softened it right up. Fits well, easy to put on and secure.I'm docking a point for two reasons: One, the memory foam is pretty thin, a lot less than I expected. It's mostly downy padding, which is fine, but not what it looked like I was getting. Additionally, the way it's designed with the square quilted pattern on top means my fitted sheet always has these square creases where it settles into the shape of the topper, which looks really ugly and can't be smoothed out.I'll eventually replace this with something with that's full-foam and flat on top to keep my sheets looking flat and smooth, but until then, it'll do the job just fine.
