Seems to be high quality and works.
This works perfectly. I have a USB type C to USB 3, 3 port hub attached to it and I run multiple virtual machines off of SSDs drives attached to the hub. I imagine if this thing was very cheap etc, there would be some bandwidth issues?

Not a good choice for use with a USB-c hub
Unreliable functionality since arrival two weeks ago. I bought this to go between my thunderbolt-equipped laptop and a USB-c hub I wanted to place out of sight to tidy up my desk surface. The product described this as a function in the name of the posting so I thought I had found what I was looking for. The signal for the hdmi out almost always makes it through; however, the usb devices connected to the hub (mouse and keyboard) work sporadically. Sometimes they work just fine and other times not so much. When the cable is not doing what it supposed to, the connected devices either dont function at all or they switch back and forth between working and not working a few times a minute which is even more frustrating. It will sometimes disconnect mid key press and I'll end up with a page of the same letter. This can sometimes be fixed by plugging and unplugging the capable repeatedly (up to 13 times) which ruins any benefits of convenience the cable was supposed to bring. It has become a grievance to my setup. This is not a problem with my hub or computer as they works perfectly together when directly plugged together. I have tried plugging pass-through power to the hub to see if the problem was from power loss through the cable preventing the peripherals from receiving sufficient electricity; that did not help anything and actually made it buggier. I am not sure if I received a defective cable or if, as a whole, this product has problems.PROs:-is 10 feet long with the described connectors.-Does not have obtrusive branding.-when it does work, it is a pleasant transition from mobile laptop use to extended display desktop use.CONs:-often does not work.-Sometimes kinda works which is even more frustrated due to false promise of success in unplugging and replugging
