Nice, quality game
Great game! Pretty easy to learn. The game is self contained and is a case that holds the blocks and cards. It's pretty cool.

MATCH is a HIT!
Never heard of this game, so got it on a whim as my four year old is on a big super hero kick and we’ve been trying to play more family games. Wow was this a hit! I think the key is the superheroes, which drew my kid’s interest. Once he was interested on the characters, teaching him the game was easy. It’s a simple enough game but the concept was totally new to me: a tic-tac-toe with a twist, you take turns moving cubes one at a time to try to get five in a row. When one player pops a cube into place with a superhero facing them, this pops a cube to the second player who can then turn it any which way and put it back into the board, displacing a cube into the first players area to play next. There is a fun twist that my kids really love... once you get five in a row you shout match! But the losing player gets a chance at redemption, if one of their two cards (randomly given at the beginning of the game) matches the character that makes up the match, the losing player wins! (My little guy sometimes peaks at his cards and then begs me to try to match that character which is part of the fun. ) My four year old is right at the age to get the rules, play appropriately , but obviously doesn’t use much strategy. While the game is a bit of luck there is some forward planing and strategy involved to the point my wife and I have even had some competitive games after the kids are down. If your kids like superheroes and are 4 years plus, use this as a great start to developing game skills. It’s fun, easy, colorful, and comes in a great package that closes up on its own plastic frame, so is really easy to pack and travel with. It’s a blast!

Fun game. Good travel set. A little complicated for a 4 yr old
OVerall, this is a fun game. It's great for a DC Comics fan. It's basically a more involved version of Connect Four. You connect five character images in a row from moving cubes with DC characters on them around a shared grid. One player pokes one cube out and replaces it with another cube. The second player then takes the poked out cubes, selects a characters face, and reinserts it somewhere on his/her side of the grid, and so on until one player gets five of the same character in a row. The game set up is one shared board separating the two players (like Battle Ship or Guess Who, but one shared middle.) There are plastic panels that fold down on each side. Each player gets two cards that they keep face down panels that allows the "loser" to possibly stel the win at the end of a match. The game board itself is made of sturdy plastic and the panels click shut holding the cubes and cards inside when not in use. This makes for easy transport and storage. My one complaint is that the game is a little complicated (and tedious) to set up. The directions say to make sure there is no duplicate character in the same row, column, or diagonal, so you have to move the cubes around so there aren't multiples in the same row or column. But since the cubes are shared, both sides have to get to an equilibrium where neither person has multiples in any row or column. This can be a very tedious process. And it's way too complicated for a four year old to do. The game itself is a little complicated for a four year old, but the set up is really the top. I played this with my four year old and he was not really grasping it. I know as we play he'll get better, but he needs a lot of help right now. I think 6-8 should have no problem sitting down and starting a game. So, like I said, overall, it's a fun game, but I think the 4+ age recommendation is a little optimistic. Still any DC Comics lover will enjoy this game.

Fun Game for Kids
This is a fun, interactive game for kids and isn't too childlike that parents or other adults won't enjoy playing it with the kids. It's like Connect Four (actually, Connect Five, in this case) combined with Ravensburger's Labyrinth game combined with the design of Battleship. The board changes with every move, and you try to make your matches by moving cubes around while competing with the player on the other side who is moving them to their liking. The DC Comics characters on each cube make it fun for superhero enthusiasts young and old. I liked explaining some of the lesser known characters (like Darkseid or Martian Manhunter) to my little nephew, but it's kind of strange that they chose particular characters over others. Is that Lois Lane? Or is it Zatanna? What an odd choice. The Top Trumps cards seem like a disappointing way to end the game for a kid who strategized their moves to win. It's like they put all this effort into it and then someone swoops in at the end, takes credit for your work, and wins the game. I guess that's why they call them Trumps cards.

Fun for many ages
This game is kind of a cross between Connect Four and Battleship. It can be played very simply with little strategy (which happens with younger players) or it can actually involve strategy and a little deduction (which is what you get with older kids). It's funny how much the DC-heroes theme adds to the game for kids considering how ultimately you could be playing with pictures of breakfast foods and the game would remain the same. This game is more fun than I thought it would be and it's not the kind of game that gets old after three plays. It's built pretty well, too. Given the reasonable price, I'm happy to give this five stars.

El material de construcción no es malo pero tampoco es muy bueno y además el juego es un poco aburrido, pero para el que le guste la serie de dibujos animados le puede llamar la atención los primeros días. Ha sido un regalo para mi hijo de 3 años.
