Directions are ambiguous! This stuff works like 3M splicing tape did 40 years ago, in that backing MUST be removed or tape does not stick to anything. We called it vulcanizing, once on it becomes homogeneous, trying to unroll is like trying to remove a vulcanized tire repair.

Decent stretch, great adhesive, great price for the bundle. Have gone through two rolls so far and gave one to a coworker; will buy again when out.

I purchased this to cover the grip arms on an elliptical (approx. 2" diameter). It worked well for that, sticking well to itself after being wrapped right for a night. It is very thick, so I imagine it would be a little tough on small pipes. And as far as I can tell it is not silicone (doesn't claim to be) if that's what you're looking for.

Great product

Normally I do not leave feedback. The product needs to be extremely good or extremely bad. This product is the latter; complete garbage. After fiddling with it for a while, I figured out what I could and could not get away with. Upon realizing that the tape does not seal anything, I decided to wrap this as tight as possible. (read as stretched to the limit!) Gave it time to potential start working went out to check, only to find that the tape had baked in the sun / dry rotted / split / cracked. Came off in crumbling pieces! Failed to seal and failed completely in a matter of days!

If you've used Rescue brand tape and are thinking this is a cheaper generic version of the same product, look elsewhere. This tape is thick and stiff. It does not stretch easily. Perhaps I am not using it properly, but I find this tape is difficult to use. I cannot speak to durability, as I tried to use it once, but found it unwieldy. I still do not know what this tape will be useful for.

It’s great for sealing to keep water out. I have used it for years and I am very happy with the results.

Thick and easy to use, just remove the top layer. I bought these because they were cheaper that the others I bought. But these are better quality, thicker and have a textured top for more gripping power.

Product as described. The fusing is really amazing. You have to make sure the taper overlaps itself in order to get best fusing. Good thickness, over all a good alternative to regular electrical tape and worth the buy!

J'ai utilisé ce ruban sur des poignées de ski nautique. Il est important d'installer une couche de ruban adhésif à hockey avant. Ça permet un meilleur support pour ce ruban. Le ruban est encore en parfaite condition après plusieurs utilisations.

Le ruban adhésif n'a pas assez d'adhésif pour bien coller. Le ruban ne tient pas bien. Le ruban se dit auto-fusionnant mais en fait il ne fusionne jamais. Selon mon utilisation ce ruban ne répond pas à mes besoins.
