The fan with dimmable light ring and remote was easy to install, is easy to use and the fan produces, selected by speed, an amazing output for the exterior space its in. Love IT and am considering the purchase of another fan. As it is new, I'm waiting and testing durability but so far so good!

I like that this ceiling fan/light is easy to install. It took about 45 minutes to take down the old fan and install the new fan. The majority of that time was taking down the old one. The remote works well and makes it easier to adjust the light and fan. I also like the aesthetics of this fan.The fan has several speeds and the direction can be changed using the remote. The fan is pretty powerful and moves a lot of air for how small it is. The reason I only gave it four stars is because there is no way I can find to clean the fan blades without taking the entire fixture down. That is a design flaw.I am happy with the light/fan and would recommend it.

Great for rooms with bunk beds!

The media could not be loaded.  This fan and light are perfect for my RV!! Super quiet!!! The light has a dimmer that's perfect for watching TV. My guys are 6'4 and it's perfect for not hitting them in the head! I really recommend it!! Like I said.... PERFECT!!!

I got this to install in our big hallway, it’s right outside bedrooms and the laundry area. The light is bright and adjustable, fan too. Remote offers many options to adjust. I haven’t tried the phone option yet. Included instructions, more on how to screw into ceiling then anything else though if you know what you’re doing it’s not a problem. Heavy metal frame, seems well made and included different options to mount so we had want we needed to install. Mostly love this, the fan creates great air flow in this area and light can go very bright when needed I just wish when I used light switch it would remember the last settings used. Looks great, very happy and hope it lasts a long time.

My husband, an electrical engineer, installed the fan and said installation was very easy and straightforward. The company supplies hardware if you don't have an existing box to mount to. At the same time, the included hardware does not have bolts that work with standard US ceiling boxes though. My husband used the old ones from the existing fan so for him, that was not a big deal. The remote works well and everything is clear. There is a "natural wind" button that runs the fan at random speeds, like a natural breeze, which is nice. The light is bright and the fan is fairly quiet. We both love it.When it comes to the App, though, we had issues. I didn't take off stars snce the major purchase was for the fan and it's going into a bedroom which will become a guest room, so having just hte remote is enough. but I'll walk through what I found.The product description both onteh product page and in the paper insert touted the app. but neither gives the name of that app. instead, there is a QR code on the paper insturctions. That takes you to a page called zhikong2 on a website. Thee were somewhat confusing options if you have an Android phone (see third photo). I opted for the second one, and after the apk file downloaded, I agreed to install. It was 35MB and took forever, so I cancelled it. Made me nervous. Instead, I searched for an ap called zhi kong in the app store and found one for fans and lights called Zhi Guang and downloaded it. It is meant for fan lights, so I figured this was the one. Following the directions in the instructions, we shut the fan off and turned it back on and pressed the Pair code button in the app...and it didn't pair. I also checked out the Terms of Agreement and Privacy Notice that popped up -- and even though the interface of the app was in English, they were in Chinese, with no translation option. This too,made me uneasy. People who reviewed tha app in the app store also noted there were issues pairing. Bottom line, the entire app scenario doesn't feel credible to me. I looked at the Amazon store for Ohniyou, which sells the fan. They have a lot of beautiful fan light fixtures which tout the app as another way to control, but I didn't see the name of the app in order to download from the app store anywhere. This lowers my confidence in that aspect. I unstalled the Zhi Guang app on my phone BTW. And will not lose the remote.Just wanted to share our experience.

I needed to replace a ceiling fan and light in my son's room which hung two and a half feet down from the ceiling. The fan I replaced worked great during his early childhood as it wouldn't have been possible for him to reach it, and it provided great air circulation and lighting.Now that he's gotten a bit older and a lot taller, the low hanging ceiling fan had me concerned that he could easily clip the spinning fan blade with either his hands or head if he were to jump from his bed which sits closely under the ceiling fan.This product solves a lot of those concerns, and it's low height profile and caged style provides exactly what I was looking for in terms of both safety and utility. It's pretty lightweight, and I love that the light itself is dimmable. The included remote works well and I've found it incredibly useful in that it allows me to adjust the fan speeds throughout the night from outside of his room to avoid any risk of waking him up by opening the door to his room as I had to do with the old fan we took down. As far as noise levels are concerned, while the blades themselves are a lot smaller than the ceiling fan we replaced; it still pushes out a good amount of air without being too noticeably loud.The main drawback I see is that it will be quite a pain to try and clean the fan blades once it inevitably collects a lot of dust given that the fan grill doesn't appear to be removable. If there was a quick and easy way to remove the grill to get to the fan blades, I would easily had given this 5 stars instead.

I have been looking for a ceiling fan that works well, but doesn’t have a light below the fan. My son has epilepsy and those fans give a flicker when the light is on. This is perfect! Looks so good!!

Love the fan, I didn't install it, so my guy threw away the instructions. Is there a way for me to get them for my own records?EDIT - I'VE ALREADY INSTALLED IT. IT WORKS. I'M TRYING TO FIND THE APP AND THE METHOD TO MAKE IT VISIBLE TO MY SMART HOME AND SMART PHONE.It's directly connected to the power without a switch because I have a remote, so I can't put it into pairing mode or whatever.

I wish it threw a little more air, but at least my kids can't break the blades!
