Works perfectly for Yeti X.
The mount is quite a bit bigger than I expected. It seems high quality (no plastic), but I'm not sure how replacing the elastics will work in the long run. It was easy to screw into my boom arm and is rock solid once set up. That said, I'm not sure it's worth the price; at the end of the day, it's a piece of metal with elastic bands wrapped around it. This should be more like $20 but I guess they mill it out of a solid block or something so there's a lot of waste you have to pay for.Just to be safe, I would use a shock mount from the same manufacturer that made your microphone; if you don't have a Blue Yeti mic, get a different mount.

Just want I was looking for
I got lucky and went with this shock mount and arm.I wanted something in between cheap POS and high-end sound engineer equipment. This product is a perfect balance. Nice and solid. Holds angles well. Secures to desk great.Shock mount is an added plus that I didn't know I would benefit from. Really helps eliminate background sounds from bumping desk or accidentally hitting mic base when recording.I also bought a flexible arm boom mic filter for this set up. Having excellent results.Very happy.

Works Great For My Yeti X
This microphone fit my blue Yeti X perfectly, at first I thought the screw wasn’t screwing in but then I pushed it a little bit further and before starting to turn it and it fit. Currently it's holding its weight well, while remaining very stable. It absorbs most vibrations when shaking the table, vibration are no longer traveling through the solid structure of the original stand into the mic. The only complain is even though it's probably smaller than the blue radius II (which I have never seen in person) this is massive and also has a bit of sag to it on the hinge but it might have been because I tried to attach the boom arm on this while the mic was still in it's original base. I tried tightening the hinge But it did not work I might have to consider super gluing it in place, which is something I wouldn't like doing. I could also consider. getting a rubber o-ring, but I would have to buy a pack of these, most of them come in packs of dozens. This is the first time I have to give less than five stars for a product from Blue.

So far, looking great!
I was worried about all the reviews saying that the mount's screw wouldn't fit in the mic but I decided to take a chance on it and it worked out great! It fit perfectly on the first try. Really love that the mount, just like the mic, is made of solid metal and it makes it feel sturdy which I'm happy with.

Shocked mounted!
Dear Blue,I purchased this Blue Radius 3 shock mount to go with my Blue Yeti Boom Arm and the Mic shown in my photo. It fits perfectly as I imagined because it’s from the same company. No instructions came with the box but that’s ok as it is self explanatory how it should go together. Without this shock mount I would not be able to mount my mic to the boom arm. Or at least not that I am aware of because I tried. It looks super professional even though I only use it as my main mic for work. I work from home and I needed a good mic setup to use for Zoom/Team meeting. I’m still not entirely sure why I needed this shock mount but a lot of people I’ve talked to says it’s necessary. Also, my Yeti Blue Mic doesn’t fit on the Yeti Blue Mic Arm without it. Seems like a defect in their products but not sure which is defective.

Lost 1 screw and now I'm out 50 bucks. Never buying Blue again now.
I'll start this off by stating the short summary of this: Blue is intentionally selling you an extremely overpriced piece of hardware that is, at best, poorly planned from a design perspective, and, at worst, deliberately engineered to have an extremely special part (that does not need to be there) that if you lose, renders the overpriced hardware completely useless.I want to preface this by saying that I worked for a hardware manufactuirng and packaging center as a design engineer for years, and so I know how the manufacturing and distribution of this stuff works and the labor that goes into it. I literally make screws, so I feel like I'm as qualified as anyone to get this upset about this.I used this mount for a couple of months in combination with the compass arm and my Yeti X and loved it. It did what I needed it to do, was very intruitive to use, and seemed to be made of good sturdy material which is good because of how heavy the yeti x is. But recently I moved, and in the process I lost the hardware that holds the shock mount to the arm. it is two very small but very specially designed pieces of hardware that, if you lose, renders the mount completely useless. Now, that on it's own is not the problem and why I'm leaving this poor review. I want to be clear in this review that I am aware that losing the screw was my fault. I am well aware of that. I messed up, and that's on me.What definitely isn't my fault however, is that when I contacted customer support, they informed me that they don't keep stock of these screws, and as such they can't supply me with a spare. So i now have a $50 shock mount that I can't use because I lost TWO screws that are worth about 2 cents a piece. This isn't me saying that they should have given it for free. With a price tag as high as Blue's, they probably should have customer service of that degree, but I would never expect them to do that. I would gladly have paid 5 bucks for a little baggie of hardware to just be able to mount it again. It would not be hard at all for Blue to simply make a few extra pieces of hardware and set them aside in a bin somewhere in some wherehouse, and sell them for 5 bucks a piece. It would be incredibly easy, and would make them a ton of money probably because I know I'm not the only person who loses things like this. (again, I work for a company that does this sort of thing for companies like Blue all the time. It's not hard. In fact, it's pretty much expected).Further, the special screw and lock nut combination that is used is extremely unneccesary from a design point, and this mount connection could easily have been made to just use standard hardware that you could get from Home Depot. I can think of multiple off the top of my head. But it seems Blue is far more interested in forcing their customers to buy a totally new $50 mount rather than replace those little pieces of hardware.I know it sounds petty, especially for something that I myself lost and is totally my fault. But imagine that you drove your car, and through your fault got one of your side mirrors broken. You would be upset if you had to buy a whole new car, all because the car manufacturer made the connection of that mirror an incredibly complicated connection that no auto shop could buy, right?Because that's the level of corporate pettiness that is going on here, and it is totally unacceptable. If you are shelling out the money for premium hardware like Blue is supplying, it is absolutely fair to expect that they would provide at the very least an option to buy spares of the hardware.I've spent hundreds of dollars on Blue Hardware in the past and loved it, but after dealing with this and coming to this realization, absolutely no more.
