Really love these . Used one to power the 12v systems in am RV while on shore power with batteries removed. Fan seems to run whenever it is on which isn't so bad but little loud after everything is off ..after some modification of its location and placement the fan noise was pretty minimal. Now looking at using another to power a car stereo, amp and speakers in the shop. I really love the single pole + and neg- one these as they can be run to a power distribution panel or fuse panel with a larger wire in a single run so.. easy peazy. And then plug directly in to outlet ..perfect thanks so much !!

I use it for a DC lifing winch. 2500 watt. I use it for lifting heavy gear up a ramp into a box truck. I can save the strain on my truck battery with this and easily load 300 pound loads up the ramp.

I use this power supply in the garage and for running my RC battery charger. This has worked great for everything I need 12V for. My last one (that died after 14 years of service) only had 400W. Hhaving the extra power has been noticeable

I'm a HAM operator with several higher-end switching and linear power supplies for my shack. This is not a power supply you would want to power your full shack. It's noisy and warm when I start TX on HF at 100 watts. I wanted to get something inexpensive to use to quickly check out radios on my test bench. For the price, it makes for a decent PS to check out radios or other 12VDC devices. I'll keep it for that purpose, not to power anything in my shack.

This 110 to 12 volt step down converter works great. I am using this to power a diesel heater in our garden shed, it needs a steady 12 volt supply and a battery needs constant recharging. This gives stable power and comes with knobs and screws to fasten wires to the 12 volt lugs and clamps and battery cable crimp ends.

DO NONT RECCOMMEND AND CONSIDER THIS A FIRE HAZARD! PLEASE READ BELOW.The open circuit voltage of this device was 12.08 V DC. I operated this with a small ~5-amp load, and it worked fine. Voltage dropped down to 12.05 V DC. I decided to run it with a higher load to see if it would work for my needs. I loaded it to 33 amps and voltage dropped down to 11.79 V DC. The internal cooling fan kicked on almost immediately. In less than a minute of loading to 33 amps, just 66% of the device's rating, I noticed a burning smell. The smell grew stronger, and the fan continued to run. I shut the power supply down after less than 90 seconds. The fan stopped and the assembly was quite warm. After the fan stopped, I noticed a small trickle of smoke coming from it briefly. I did not get a photo and for safety reasons decided not to try loading it again.This is clearly not safe and going right in the trash. The attached pictures show the loaded readings I took. Additionally, the product description is very misleading. It states 50A in multiple locations, BUT the sticker on the device says not to exceed 80% of the rating, just 40 amps, and I only loaded it to 33 amps!!! The device's ratings are clearly exaggerated or even misrepresented. The photos show the sticker, but you have to zoom in to read it. I would not recommend!

I'm using this power supply to bench test car audio gear at home. For that purpose it does a a reasonable job. The fan is a bit noisy and the power supply can get warm when pushed, but for the money, it's not terrible. I'm planning on modding the lid and swapping the fan for a spare 120mm unit I have to increase airflow and reduce noise. Overall, I'm happy with this supply.
