Lumie Mini, Compact Bright Light Therapy Lamp for Improved Mood, Energy and Alertness

Excellent product. I love that it is stable to stand up, and that it is so simple to use with only an on/off switch! The light is constant, with no ability to change the brightness or colour. It's very pleasant, does the job perfectly and I'm not wasting time playing with unnecessary brightness/colour settings. The device is powered by mains plug and has a long enough power cord. Initially I thought I'd want a USB connection but in practice this has not at all been an issue as most bedsides have a power point near the head. I have travelled with this little lamp carefully packed both in amongst clothing in a holdall (and then also in a backpack) on a train journey and it was fine - helpful for early mornings if you travel! I had purchased this alongside a few other lamps for comparison and to keep the one I liked the best. These included a full size Lumie but I found the Mini to be perfectly good enough for my needs and better for travel, so returned the bigger Lumie. I also purchased the Beurer TL35 lamp but returned this too as I didn't find it to be stable when trying to prop it up - it kept falling over. By contrast I found the Lumie Mini to be physically stable even when balanced on top of a duvet in bed. This is a huge plus when reading in bed first thing in the morning. I also personally preferred the light hue and appearance of the Lumie Mini to the Beurer; other people might like the range of settings of the Beurer and the flexibility of the USB connection ability, but for me the Lumie Mini does a perfect job and it easily stays standing up on top of a duvet so that was it for me! One last point - the Lumie Mini does not flicker at all and while it is very bright, it's not uncomfortable to look at if you glance straight at it.

Compact but powerful. Very bright but doesn't hurt eyes if stare at it. 20mins at breakfast of dismal winter days .... It seems to work, gives us a lift

I recently purchased the Lumie Mini Compact Bright Light Therapy Lamp and it has been a wonderful addition to our daily routine. As somebody who works from home occasionally, I wanted something that could help lift our spirits, especially during the darker winter months. This lamp has exceeded my expectations in so many ways and is as effective as the standard Lumie lamp that we also have. Pros: Compact and Portable: The small size makes it easy to move around the house and take us minimal space. Bright and Effective: The 10k lux light at a close distance is powerful enough to make a noticeable difference in our mood and energy levels. I feel more awake and productive after using it for just a short time each day. Simple to Use: The one-button operation at the top of the lamp is much easier to access than the full size lamp. I can easily turn it on and off without any fuss. Cons: One Brightness Level: It would have been useful to have adjustable brightness settings, but the single level has been very effective. May not be suitable for all users. Need to so some research before purchasing if you have sensitive eyes or any other eye condition.

Cannot fault this. I suffer with SAD and this has changed the game for me. It’s small enough that I was able to put it in my under the seat carry on for an easyJet flight, but bright enough that it still makes a huge difference. The light is bright, and does exactly what you need. Also a great light for makeup if you’re staying somewhere with poor lighting (not its intended use but still helpful!)

I have only had the lamp a week and we still have quite a bit of sunshine in sunny Cromer but getting up just after 5 every day means a dark start. The lamp goes on as soon as we are back from our dog walk and I really do think it lift our mood

It really works!! This is going to be a life saver through out this super dreary uk winter we are having right now. Ive almost forgot what the sun looks like, but this little lamps brings the sun where the weather doesnt. I had helped a lot with mood

This light is fantastic little power house and just as good as the standard size which I have had previously..

Great lamp! Really bright and it helps with my circadian rhythm because light first thing in the morning is important to help with that. Highly recommend!!
