Q: Hi all, what else is needed besides this and the fire pit? I assume a ring, correct?

Dear customer， Besides this product, you may need a drop in fire pit pan and a ring burner or H type burner. And also you can add more handy tools for easy use. You can find more tools in this product page. In the meantime, we also supply stainless steel drop in fire pit pan kit. (asin:B08LY84XHZ)

Q: This is rated for 150k btu. my burner is 92k btu but regulator keeps freezing. why?

Where do you live? It’s pretty normal for regulators to frost up if your humidity is high.

Q: What’s the psi rating on the regulator?

most of these regulators are 0-20psi for fire pits,for a few dollars you can get a gaged fitting so you can adjust pressure
