Q: Should i use the waterfowl booties for five-toed chickens, like faverolles or silkies?

the bootie is able to put additional holes in if necessary and worked beautifully .. I needed to take off once a week and wash as my hen was always getting into the mud :)

Q: Can a duck wear these?

The item listed is for chickens only. The company does make boots for ducks, but they aren't listed on Amazon.

If you google Birdy Bootie, you'll find the web site for the makers of these booties. They have ones for geese listed.

Q: Could this help a chicken with curled toes on one foot so she can walk?

The reason why we bought these is for protection so the other chickens would not peck at this chickens feet. It has definitely done a good job to protect them. This chicken had curved toenails so we cut the toenails back before we put these on. They are soft booties and definitely not hard. The chicken seems to be walking in them just fine.
