When buying mine, I read that a few people had done this by accident. They all put their blanket in the freezer for a couple of hours. Everyone said it worked.

Q: What is the thread count?

Sorry do not know the thread count, but I have not had a good night sleep since getting this. Having MS as well as going through menopause the first was to small so I bought a second and it is great. I think as long as I follow the cleaning directions it will last. Highly recommend.
