The thermometer.... Very cheap. Throw it away. Gun works great after I put a fresh can on it.

It is definitely powerful. What impresses me most is the case it came with. The Torch lighter fits in a molded sponge, as well as a bonus thermometer that came with it. The material is made of brass and plastic with a painted metal barrel and a built-in igniter. The flame is smooth and easy to adjust, as well as the thread to screw on the propane canister. I use a one-pound canister to keep the setup in a stable upright position while cooling the barrel before placing it back in the case. The whole system appears to be durable and is elegantly made, and the price is unbelievable.

Works well, great for lighting charcoal, burning built up carbon off weber kettle, touching up slow cook meats to add color, braising vegetables , etc, etc.

This is a very easy to use fire starter. Starts charcoal and wood chunks with ease. I love where I can use a small bottle ore use the hose to hook-up to the propane tank with ease. Just wish the hose was about 2 ft. Longer, then, it would be perfect. Money well spent and priced well.

Broke before I could use it. Screwed in the gas, it hissed so I turned the gas off. It won’t turn the gas back ons

Very nice item .Works beautifully.Reason for 4 stars I had to glue the Shutoff Red Knob.It was slipping on the stem.Also adjust the Ignitor.Would not ignite.Now works beautifully.
