I love Griffin a lot, he was grumpy but he was actually the sweetes! The was he was with his family and to Winslow, the he threaten her and took care of her 🫂 Winslow was a great character! Loved that it wasn’t just “chief of police” for the name only, she was actually good at her job and did everything to be accepted in her job and in town and to prove herself! And I love how she believed it wasn’t just accident and looked into everything and tried to help the victims and their familys to know the truth 🥹 Griffin and Winslow relationship was good as it started as one night stand then casual hook up then loved how it slowly turned serious, because how both loved the little thing and peace they bough into etch other life! The mystery part of the book was actually interesting and fun to read! I was suspecting anyone and everyone and it was kind of unexpected who the suspect really was! Ending was really rushed compered to whole story was going!
