I've read quite a few reviews prior to buying this like i always do when purchasing items from amazon, a few reviews its quite clear to me they didn't read all of the instruction properly. Firstly this reel is absolutely fantastic it comes with all of the attachments to plug into your outside tap, it also comes with a template on the box itself which makes installation so much easier. also the wall attachment can be detached from the reel to make installation easier plus getting to the screws to attach to the wall.

1-Use a Hozelock non return connector on tap end . 2-On first use pull the hosepipe right out of the hosereel and lock it with lever. 3-Turn the tap on and fill the hosepipe with water and operate spray gun to let air out and then close spray gun. 4- unlock the hosereel with lever and allow the hose to retract to the stop. 5- Follow these instructions and the hosereel will operate smothly and not kink.

Great product. Use every day for work. Simple to slot off mooring bracket and bring indoors in freezing weather. It makes life so much easier too.

I bought this to replace an old hoselock hose reel I'd had for many years, and which lived outside in all weathers, and gave me excellent service. This new one is very similar and easy to fit. I knew what to do, but there is an excellent set of photos showing the steps to install in great detail. This will help even the least confident purchaser to install the reel. I fixed mine to a short teak post concreted into the ground, instead of directly to the rendered wall of my house. This works very well. I'm very happy with the new one and I'm pleased to say that it works smoothly and auto locks and with a pull of six inches or more will unlock and rewind the hose. Time will tell how well this one will last, but it certainly looks and feels sturdy and well made.

Good product and much cheaper then in garden centres etc

Very pleased with this retractable hosepipe, I have just moved and have a large garden and it is much easier to water all the garden now. The hose dose not kink like my previous hosepipe. It is easy to recoil the hose instead of leaving it out. A friend attached it to the wall for me which was a hassle free process. Good quality and value.

Love it. It was very easy to install. The automatic rewind is fantastic for my mum (85). She used to just leave it laying on the ground, so now it’s easy for her to put back without any kinks or effort. It was a bit pricey but I believe that it’s well worth the money. It’s very sturdy. Perfect
