it's a great wig. Here are some tips
First off, the wig is kind of crazy when you first take it out. The rubber that goes over your forehead will not match your skin tone and will look funky. But wait...it's a great wig. Here are some tips. Take out a pair of scissors while it's on the head and trim it up a bit. Then I took some black spray paint and gave the wig a gray/dirty kind of look. It's quite white but if you use some black spray paint and spray at a distance, it's looks awesome. A little trim, a little spray paint, and then some hair spray...it's amazing for the price. Use the same color that you are putting on your face on the rubber forehead part and you're Beetlejuice. It's way better than the picture shown here. Don't let this picture discourage you from buying this.

Good wig, great price
Looked great and did the job, but my hubby wished it had a way to be adjusted in the back as it was a just a bit too large. It stayed on fine though. He did end up taking it off after like an hour because it was just too hot but it looked great.

Forehead issues
Hair was fine. The forehead was a pain. It had a wrinkle in the material that we couldn't get out and when tried to cover with face paint and makeup it wouldn't stick. So the forehead stuck out, had a huge bump through the middle and didn't match. This was the only thing with the whole costume that I wish I ordered differently. My husband was a great sport and just went with it.

Photo doesn't do it justice on Amazon.com
Rubie's/Amazon needs to revisit the lame photo they put on here because the wig has so much potential and it looks terrible in this photo. I wish I could upload my photo from this halloween to show you the trick. But I'll tell you.1. Purchase liquid latex and spirit gum. Use spirit gum to hold down the front/seam of the wig (first). Second, Apply multiple coats of liquid latex on the seam where the mask/bald cap part meets your forehead. I put about 5 - 6 coats on so it blends with your forehead/skin.2. Apply heavy layer of white clown paint or white face base. Apply over everything, even the bald/forehead part of the mask. The only area you don't touch is the opening for your eyes. Do not apply where your eyes will be.3. Apply liquid latex in patches on the sides of your face and it random areas to create textures and uneven skin. You can even add scrunched up paper towels to look like veins, barnacles, etc. that Beetlejuice has along the sides of his face/neckline.4. Apply white powder over everything. You can also use transparent powder.5. Apply green powder and/or mix of shades of green eyeshadow along entire sides of face and outside of bald cap. Also blend in the wig as well and feel free to toss so white powder in there too. Really go crazy with the green the neckline and sideburn area.6. Use black eyeliner to create veins in the green area and create depth in the liquid latex/paper towel areas.7. Apply black eyeshadow base around eyes. Then over top of the base use a thick black face paint or oil. Don't blend with white area. It's supposed to be a stark contrast between the two.8. Look amazing! You're done!Glad to supply pictures as well.

You can always work on it to make it better
The mask fits loose on my bfs head had to add some adhesive to glue to his forehead. Other than that this wig/mask is very manageable I unsewn four layers of hair extension off and sewed a bit back on and gave it a haircut. I also sprayed white hair color all around the wig it helped me tease and hold the hair where I wanted it to stay. I used the white make up “mehron white clown make up” From amazon and it never cracked it actually dried on the bald cap and does not smear.

Easy to Customize for Great End Result
Like other reviewers I will say that this is not an out-of-the-box ready item but it isn't difficult to work with and Make it Great!Step 1: Tease the hair. It's kind of long and won't stand up easily unless you tease it (back-combing). easy to do w/ any fine tooth comb. Step 2: Color it. It's very white (more Doc Brown than Beetlejuice). I mixed some $.99 tan colored acrylic craft paint w/ rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to "paint" the wig & make it look dirty. (This also adds texture and makes it easier to stand up). Step 3: Use spirit glue to hold it down and 100% get the liquid latex to cover the forehead seam. [I put a small pile of cotton balls onto my Husb's head to keep the forehead from caving in] Step 4: Apply makeup to the flesh-colored forehead piece (just as you'll apply makeup to the face). You can stop there or continue for more depth and a truer movie version. I bought some green moss from the plant department, cut tiny bits of it & glued it onto the face and the wig w/ Aileen's Craft Glue. I stuck bits of moss into the hair also to make it look dirtier. I added some green "veining" on his face and on the flesh part of the wig. I lightly sponged regular household latex paint onto his hands (didn't have to worry about makeup transfer and it scrubbed off easily in the shower) . We've attended 3 Halloween parties this year and re-used the wig each time with no issues.
