I absolutely love my mini coffee scale! It’s incredibly durable and feels solid, yet it’s so compact and easy to store – perfect for my kitchen space. Is this as perfectly tuned as some more expensive scales? No. Is it an absolute banger for the bucks and great value? yes. Absolutely yes.When comparing to my acaia scales (the larger ones that don't fit under the group head of my espresso machine), these do have that ever so slight delay between weight changing and the display updating. That delay is completely accountable for and not a problem, you just account for the ~200ms and you're not only fine but happy with the extra $ you have in your pocket. This seems to be the main advantage of (significantly) more expensive scales, that latency is not noticeable.The auto-zeroing for the espresso mode is fantastic, as is the auto timer start. Somebody has thought about the usability of this scale.It seems to have good battery life, and the rubber cover is fantastic for protecting the scale from all your random drips.

This was a great little scale for about 6 months until it started giving entirely incorrect readings. I had used the scale about once a day since buying it and it very suddenly started to fail.Readings change by 5-10% when picking up mug and placing it back down with no change to contents. Even without moving item on top of scale, the weight will slowly drift by several grams.At this point it has become unusable as a coffee scale so I’m going to see what I can do about replacing it through Amazon/ manufacturer. Unfortunately it looks like I’m not the only person seeing this type of failure. Very disappointing

Nearly perfect. Only two things I would change. 1. The rubber pad slips all over, which is a pain since I move this back and forth in a small space while brewing. 2. The tare button takes just an extra second or two to reset. Yes, minor time delay, just it freaks out with flashing numbers as it resets, always setting off my anxiety that it is broken or won't reset this time.Otherwise, love it. My old coffee scale broke because it was not waterproof (I know, really?). The charge last for months with multiple uses per day. It is very responsive, quickly scaling up as water is poured. I love that I can set it for silent. I do not use the auto-timer function because I like to use French Press, where my brewing time is longer than the 3 minute inactivity limit for the auto timer. The functions do take a bit of learning, but a peel-off sticker includes all the appropriate information. I tend to forget stuff like that after a week of vacation. So, instead of tossing that I stuck it to the inside of my pantry cabinet for easy reference.

Have been using the scale for several weeks, merely for weighing beans before grinding and them timing during brews. Battery has not been an issue, still running on the initial charge while relying on sleep mode when not in use (haven't been using the physical switch, which apparently was problematic on earlier models). Issues have arisen, however -- the timer button senses a finger touch even without being physically touched, so I've had to avoid even moving a finger over that area inadvertently, and today it randomly shut itself off while timing. Not fun in the early morning hours when making coffee.Edited to add: Seems to have been a fluke or perhaps even normal auto-off timing, so I have added another star, and thumbs up so far.Edited again after several months to say that I've had zero problems and the scale has been great. Added another star.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had the scale a little over a year ago and recently the weight will start DECREASING after a certain point during a pour. This happened all of a sudden and now happens every time, making the scale unusable.Even when the scale was working properly, there were a few things that bothered me. The battery life is just ok. The buttons are too sensitive and easy to accidentally press. Some positives are it looks pretty and the auto-timer function worked well.EDIT:I contacted customer support and they said too bad, the scale is out of warranty. Disappointed that the scale failed just a few months after the 1yr warranty.
