Was very surprised to find out that this product worked. I took a chance when buying and it paid off. There are 2 settings, the light will be blue once you plug them in, just press the button once and it will turn orange. I leave it on this setting and it has worked great for me. The next setting will bring up a red light and you can audibly hear the ultrasonic sounds. I didn't want to hear it and didn't want to upset my dog, so I left them on the orang setting. I haven't heard mice in my attic since the day I plugged them in. I also haven't seen any bugs in my house as well. I live in the woods in new England, so this has been a major help as the weather starts to warm up.

These units seem to keep both mice and roaches away. The odd mouse will put up with the ultrasonic noise for a few minutes, but they scurry away fairly soon.My wife and I are old enough that our ears have lost the ability to pick up the higher frequencies of sound. We plug these guys in, hit the loudest setting and walk away. Younger people, visitors with normal hearing find it nearly intolerable, and we turn them off when they are around. Be advised if your hearing is normal.

These have worked great for our garage and a separate "coach house" building we have that functions like a second garage. We used to have evidence of mice in the garage frequently. Now we turn these on almost all of the time, and we do not find evidence of mice at all anymore! So grateful.Note- when the power goes out, we have to reset them. And sometimes we turn them off during the day if we are outside in the garage.

By placing these units strategically around the house, the mice disappeared from the house. Now I need a couple more to place in an attached garage where I use a few mouse traps. I did move these around at first and the few mice moved. I have found where the mice came in and sealed the area. Now I just need these around the exterior of my house and garage, because they work. The Haycone Ultrasonic pest repeller worked. I went from 1-2 mice per day to zero. Plain and simple. This device worked amazingly. The price point was so good, I was skeptical it would or could even do the job. It came with 6 plug-ins, each with ability for high to low setting. I placed 1 in the large main rooms, to include the cellar and garage. No mice. I would purchase this item again but I won’t have to because the units all are working perfectly. Highly recommend.

I haven’t noticed any difference I just recently caught a mouse even after using these for a few months disappointed hate mice maybe if you turn them up on high, but then it would cause severe headaches

The product has enough machines to cover an entire house and offers various control modes. When set to high mode, it produces a slight noise disturbance; however, in other modes, it operates quietly. After one month of use, we have not seen any mice and insects.
