If you're looking for a lip balm with a hygienic applicator and glossy finish on a budget, this is it! The sheer tint is very subtle. I liked the grape scent (flavor), but if you're sensitive to or particular about artificial scents, YMMV. It is a bit sticky and I would not describe it as sensory friendly, but as someone who doesn't like lip gloss due to its stickiness, I find this milder than most I've tried. The formula doesn't feel drying and I appreciate the skin-loving ingredients. It's not going to do the same work as a petrolatum-based formula, but if you don't like petrolatum, this feels like a nice alternative, and certainly in a cute and convenient package compared to tins, tubs, and twist-up tubes. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could; dropped one partly due to the stickiness of the formula and partly due to the fact that I get better results from a less expensive product with a petrolatum-based formula. Depending on your preferences, this could easily be a HG for you!

I adore the vanilla smell and the hydration it offers. It doesn't make the lips yellow, and goes on clear with maybe the tiniest frosty sheen. Small, so easily fits in the pocket, and lasts AGES despite its size.

The best thing ever!! These lip balms are so incredible, I have ever flavor and have even gone through many because they are that good. They are affordable and the best quality, they leave my lips so soft and I love how some even give a color. The scents are not over powering like some lip products can be which is great for those who are sensitive to smells. Im hoping elf drops more flavors because they are a classic for me. Definitely take a chance and purchase.

I really like it - have used Laneige lip mask for years and love this one because it is so small and convenient to carry in your bag. For super dry lips I always use the 8hour lip balm in the jar but this one smells great, tastes good (unlike the 8hr balm) and it feels really good (like the laneige). Yes, price is not cheap considering the size but a very nice lip balm. I took the purple but the tint is not really detectable on the lips.
