Q: can you bake with it?

I can't answer this question as I have not tried it for baking. I use it in coffee and tea, and it is the only sweetener that I have ever tried that does not leave a bad taste, so I assume that it will be OK for baking. I think if I wanted to try it, I would probably do it half and half with sugar first. I once tried the original Splenda that was not the stevia-based product in brownies, and they were terrible!

the one i have says that it is packaged in the usa. it does not specify the country of origin.

Q: Why is the price so high?

Good question. The suggested serving size is one-half of a teaspoon...really? I have purchased this several times through my local market and it is expensive there, too. I was going through one of these a week.

Q: Is the powder better than the granulated?

I think it’s a matter of personal taste. I prefer granulated.
