The powder did the job! We were despairing because we suddenly had an infestation of carpet moth cocoons on the walls and skirting boards behind two sofas. When we pulled the sofas away from the walls, we discovered dozens and dozens of the cocoons with little maggot-like larvae popping their heads out and darting back in. Bought some cedarwood oil and wooden blocks without realising that doesn't help when you already have an infestation. There were several holes in the carpet where the wool had been fully eaten away, and masses of tiny eggs were visible (the size of sugar grains). Vacuumed everything up as best as possible and dismantled the sofas to find dozens more hiding away inside.Wherever the powder was sprayed, no further cocoons emerged. Covered most of the area beneath both sofas and around the skirting boards of the entire room. Then no more cocoons for two weeks. Two more appeared, but my guess is that these somehow missed the powder and therefore didn't die. Have put down more powder in those places. Instead of vacuuming it up and clogging the vacuum, I have simply brushed the powder into the carpet to work on any remaining eggs that may have been in spots I missed.I have no doubts about its efficacy, however. I noticed a couple of dead woodlice the other day along the skirting board. When I counted, there were 13 dead woodlice along one wall and one dead spider. I'm satisfied that this powder is perfect. It's simply a matter of reaching all the places where the eggs have been laid and/or where the larvae have wriggled.I will continue to check every couple of weeks for strays, but I'm fully confident we now have it under control.

Easy to use and effective

Very effective and cured (at least, for the time being) my persistent clothes and carpet moth larvae problem. I’ve got through a lot of it but it works - the powder is good too and also works outside to reduce any invasion problems too. It is quite dangerous stuff so try not to use the spray setting without a p3 mask and always wash your hands afterwards.Very little smell, reasonable value for money and easy to use.

My father in law found holes in the carpet under a chair and cupboard in the front room and adjoining dining room, we found this was caused by carpet moths, we hoovered and washed the carpets everyday for about 3 days and they would keep coming back appearing a couple of hours after cleaning. I found this product and gave it a try, after the first night of spraying in the affected areas the moths have gone! Sprayed a couple more times and put the powder down just in case but still no moths / larvae, it’s been a month since. The spray doesn’t smell or mark the carpets 👍🏻

Not used the spray went straight to the powder seemed ideal , but it will totally ruin your hoover be warned it clog's filters make a rite mess you will end up having to buy new filters and a massive clean up. stick with the liquid spray indoors maybe the powder outdoors if relevant. did it work im not sure still had odd moth here there. in the end i got moth smoke bombs this is the best way clear the room set off 2 or 3 let it fume the room i think only way to be sure. less mess. just long wait to enter room and vent out. a days work.

Had a new carpet fitted in my 2 year old sons room. 2 days later he was playing in there & kept running out mainly saying his skin was ‘fizzy’ so after hoovering, hoovering & hoovering little bits of what I thought were crumbs off a packet of frazzles kept appearing from no where. Then I moved his bed & found little papery moths sat there. Having had a critter problem in may back garden & found pest expert saved me from having a nervous breakdown I ordered this & set about all the carpets & floors in the house. I fogged them all with the powder then hoovered it up after 24 hours & used it on all skirting & edges of carpets, leaving it down where it can’t be seen. Then used the spray to give everything a spritz. Both items are brilliant, nothing is safe we’ve had hot weather & any site of flies is short lived. I have a fear of anything that moves so it’s a god send. I sprayed round all the doors and windows & nothing gets in. Just be careful spraying anywhere where bees & butterflies & helpful bugs are doing their bit for the world, they aren’t safe either. As for the carpet-seems to be ok. Shame on the carpet shop who supplied it. Don’t waste your money on anything else. Thanks pest expert.
