Just right for melting chocolate
We make chocolate covered peanut butter eggs for a youth group fund raiser. The double boiler worked great and made quick work of dipping the peanut butter eggs.

Awesome little double boiler
Would expect this to cost a lot more. I have been using this for months and it holds up fine, just put in the dishwasher. Makes it easy to see how much water to put in, and the little spatula is a great touch - perfect size. Great for a lot more than chocolate!

Works, easily stained.
I needed a double boiler and the size is why I bought these - a couple of thingsThe bottom pot stains really easily - I've only used water in the bottom pot and both (I bought 2) have rings around where the water meets the bottom of the bowl.Another thing that I really don't like - the pots handles have no protection and have gotten burned a handful of time. These would be a million times better if there was handle protection. Additionally, the top pot also gets extremely hot when so be careful & use oven mitts at all times. Otherwise they serve their purpose but expensive for the quality & lack of burn protection.
