A1Lawn, 10Kg Am Pro-26 General Purpose Grass Seed & 10Kg Pre-Seeder Fertiliser Multi Pack

I was a bit worried as it is general grass seed and I thought it may contain a lot of wide blade ryegrass, but it was the best I could afford.I sowed it in March when the weather was warmer than it is now in April after giving the soil an aerating, thorough raking, and some pre-seed feed, followed by a fine layer of topsoil.It took 9 days for any shoots to show and it was quite patchy, so I thought that either I had done a bad job of sowing, or some of the seed was rubbish, but I kept watering it daily and after 2 weeks more grass was sprouting. It was still a little patchy but not as bad.Now 4 weeks after sowing I have a dark rich green lawn that is thick and velvety. None of the grass is thick leaved, it is all fine quality but hard wearing grass. The one or 2 small patches that I still have are at the edge of the lawn under a hedge and I think these areas either weren't watered enough, or over watered when the hedge dripped on them constantly. I will re-seed these when the weather turns warmer again.I have cut the lawn twice since sowing and each time it looks better. This really is great seed and good value when purchased in the 10kg sack

I had decided to chop all the bushes out of the garden which were growing badly into the lawn. My lawn was also full of weeds. I did have a before picture but can't find it sorry. When the grass seed arrived I followed the easy instructions on preparation. So there was a cover up on most of the lawn and a large area were there was no grass. I sat back and left it to grow. We have just topped the grass like it says and it looks amazing I can honestly say we have the best lawn on the street. I am so happy with this product that my daughter's are wanting some and I am now preparing the back garden ready for when I can afford to purchase some more for me and my girls. Next summer my lawn will be so lush my neighbours are envious already. Well done A1 lawns and thank you :) xx

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Very good seeds. Took exactly 1 week for the grass to start growing. Grew patchy to begin with so was a bit worried, but it soon came through. Within 3 weeks of planting the grass was really high and ready to cut! All done in warm dry summer (with plenty of watering). A few small patches in the grass still as there has been a few slow areas (especially in the shade) and will seed them in a month of two if necessary. Video at 6 weeks and after 5 cuts. Would highly recommend.

Saw some reviews where it didn't germinate. Mine was slow until I put a 'dressing layer' of compost on top and then it shot up. Looks great.

Easy to use spreads well, instructions easy to follow . Results were Great, just remember to follow the instructions about watering it daily , giving it a good soak will achieve a good lawn.
