Way better than I imagined! This is a slimline profile lamp in today's stylishness with ease of operation!! From a nightlight setting to full sun setting, you can have an infinite experience. Simply touch on or off and bright to dim or endlessly in between by its touch pad conveniently located on lamp post or lay back in bed using the slender remote practically without waking up! Also easy to take room to room being slimline and lightweight! I'm absolutely pleased and delighted with the beauty and functionality of this floor lamp!

I like to aim it at the ceiling, to lighten the room. As such, I wish it were brighter—for my purposes, significantly brighter (although there's nothing close to this price-range which is bright than this). Don't get me wrong--I like things BRIGHT. My wife would not want it any brighter, and I have to turn it down in the evening in order to please her. There are a number of things I especially like about it:1. In the daytime, especially morning, I like to use it's very white, almost slightly bluish white, light at its brightest setting, because white (and especially the blue light contained in true white light) helps to awake your mind and make it alert.2. Conversely, in the evening, I like to use its opposite setting, almost absent of the blue (which makes light appear white), such that it looks like a medium wattage incandescent light—like 40-60 watt lightbulb, because it gets your brain ready for bed. Too much blue light in the evening can make sleeping more difficult.3. I like the full variability of the light settings from bright to dim, and from bluish-white to yellowish-white (incandescent-type yellow, NOT lemon-yellow—probably something like 3000°K instead of perhaps 6000°K for the over-white—almost bluish white light)—you can put it anywhere in between these shades of white and dim to bright light. It would be nice to go a little dimmer once others go to bed, and I barely need a little light, but that’s not a big deal.4. The goose-neck—when I turn it down on something, THEN the brilliance is great—such as if I need to see something crisp detail.It’s amazing to me to have all this and a remote for the price!

This lamp is very cheap. Made cheap, and cheap to purchase. But really does work as advertised. I'm still not sure if it accepts standard energy saving light bulbs because the one that came with it is enclosed in its housing. However, overall its not bad. I may buy a second one. I like really like the touch on/off switch and color of the lighting having the bill to be changed. Not a bad lamp for what it is.

This lamp is a MUST HAVE!! I was surprised that it came with a light bulb, ready to work! It was easy to assemble, and with the touch of a button illuminated my space brightly! I love the brightness control and the remote-control access. So much so that I purchased a second one and connected it to a smart plug so Alexa could turn it on for me.

Love it and all its settings and, especially, the remote.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, perfect for tight spot. Remote is perfect since it’s in a spot i cant get to easily. Lamp head rotates well. Very bright when you need it but also dims nicely when you want a night light. Looks sleek, I love everything about it and am thinking of purchasing a pair for each side of bed. I wish it came in a gold tone though.
