EARTH SCIENCE - Extra Gentle Fragrance Free Shampoo for Sensitive Hair and Scalp (1 gal.)

This is the second gallon that we’ve ordered. The shampoo is clean and gentle. We love that there is no scent and that this quantity will last us over a year (2 people, 1 with very little hair). 😂

I have chemical sensitivity so I need a fragrance free product. I've used this one for 20 years now and love the way it leaves my hair soft an manageable with no chemical smell. No need to try other brands when you find the perfect product!

This shampoo is a basic, need to have, go- to Shampoo, meeting all hair needs! Love it and have used it for the past 10 years or more! I highly recommend it!

For those with sensitive skin and/or fragrance allergies, this shampoo is the answer. It doesn't mask other smells with a chemical stink. Essentially it has no odor. It is a mild but effective shampoo that leaves the hair clean. I didn't realize until switching to this product the perputual bumps in my scalp had been caused by the harsh chemicals in conventional store bought shampoos.Purchasing by the gallon through Amazon has been a significant savings compared to buying in small containers through the local health food store.

[edit]: Price has DOUBLED between 2015 and 2019!Key fact: Fragrance Free. As another reviewer pointed out, it very difficult to find fragrance-free shampoos in the stores in the US. I am not allergic, but I have a sensitive sense of smell, and I hate the usual over-perfumed products. This has a very mild, unobjectionable odor to me. I am on my third bottle, I think. A gallon goes a long way. As far as washing hair, it is a mild but effective shampoo.Tip for transferring to a smaller bottle: I just hold the smaller bottle over the sink, and pour directly in. Because the shampoo is very viscous, you can control the start and stop and flow easily and I usually don't spill a drop.A bottle lasted almost 4 years for 1 person.

I ordered this because of allergies . I like it. It is concentrated and goes a long way. like the way hair and body feels. Use it for body wash too and like it for that

I love this shampoo, it's the only one I'm not allergic to. It cleans well and has no scent. The only issue I had is when I reordered from my original order and somehow I got conditioner instead. I've never used their conditioner, so I don't know why it happened. I sent it back for free and reordered my shampoo.

Most shampoos, even those with “all-natural” ingredients, make my scalp itchy after a few uses. Or they dry out my hair. Or they don’t cut the natural oil enough. This one has been a good find, and I was pleased, after I had tried it out in a small bottle, to find this economical way of buying it.
