I bought this because my tv only has 1 hdmi port so I was looking for a cheap switch. Turns out the quality of this thing is closer to an expensive switch. The IR receiver is great and has lots of range, and the remote may be cheap but it certainly gets the job done. It's a very simple setup so you won't have trouble getting everything straight. My one complaint is that it's powered by USB instead of a power cable so I had to use a phone charger to plug into the wall. Other than that it is a great product and I hope it serves you well.

It works just like you think it would. My TV only has 3 HDMI ports and I have a lot of stuff to connect to my TV (Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox 360, Raspberry Pi, Cable Box, Chromecast). I was able to connect everything at the same time with no problems. The included remote works great for switching between the inputs. I am no expert, but I haven't noticed any quality drop from using this switcher, or any noticeable input delay with my game consoles either.

I like this 5 port HDMI switch for my current TV. The price is very acceptable comparing with the others. But it is small and a real space saving one. Because I have used up all of the HDMI ports on TV, now it has helped me to be able to have connected my all devices with TV including DVD player, PS4, NVR video surveillance, cable box, TV box and HDMI Audio. The picture is crystal clear as the same as the one I connected directly to TV. It is very easy to install and use. You do need this type of HDMI switch if you have so many devices need to be connected to TV as mine.

I have one TV in the office. It only comes with one HDMI which is behind our TV between the wall. Sometimes we have to play videos from our NUNET TV box to play over-the-air channels, or DVD player or a laptop. With this HDMI switcher, I do not need to go to reach the only HDMI port and change the input from different devices. I can do it directly on this switcher. Now switching the play media is just a fingertip press and play now.

The power cord does not plug in to the device correctly, so it is loose and needs placed with care so that it doesn't disconnect, but it works well and it does switch between the channels automatically when devices are turned on. I think it would be better if all the HDMI cables plugged into one side also, but overall, this was worth the price and serves the purpose it was intended to

I have a Samsung sound bar which has one input. I run a Blu-Ray player, Chromecast, Firestick and Dish HD receiver though this. It works amazing! Usually if I turn a device in, it automatically switches to that device.

I'd give it a zero if it was a choice. Remote never worked. Had to turn off the cable box to get the firestick to show up when manually switching on the unit. Not a good choice in products so I returned it within the appropriate period and received a prompt refund from Amazon.

Bought this switcher last week, very easy to use. The remote makes it very handy to switch input on the couch. I already have 4 remotes, really need some universal remote now. The only thing I would mention is an additional HDMI cord is needed to connect this switcher output to TV input.
