Combination lock, doesn't open when upside down, sturdy
Like it. Looks sturdy,Packaging could be better. Expected a soft cushion like foam etc, to protect from scratches, abrasion in transit. As such have a abrasion on side, don't like it.It opens only when laid flat with topside up. This may confuse some as can be seen from other comments. However this is a protection which prevents opening upside down and spilling contents.Have combination lock.Code can be changed from inside using a lever which is kind of hard on the hand. However it is a one time operation.No way to hold laptop. Should not be a problem for me as I plan to carry a spare shirt and trousers in it.It hinges on pair of externally visible pins which was my concern. However it seems they are not openable by any easy means so reasonably secure, as secure as a briefcase can be that is.

Wrong size delivered but product is good
I ordered a 20 L briefcase, and got a 16 L one. Didn't return it because I found the product to be good, and the size did not make too much of a difference. However, the disparity in size/capacity is not acceptable for an item purchased from Amazon.
