The Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy. Seventeenth Edition (Centennial Edition)

I had a Merck Manuel years ago, somehow I misplaced it They have so much good medical information. I worked in a Hospital and used it Dailey. I ordered a used one and when it arrived , it looked brand new. Iam so happy with my fine.

This manual is actually like a master dictionary (for the lay-person) on almost every type of disease, sickness, symptom, prognosis and general health issue that may answer most questions. It's great for general reading and updating your medical knowledge. Everyone needs this, if for nothing else, then for the bookshelf and future questions. The price is great!

I often encounter disease states I do not understand to the extent I'd like. The Merck Manual gives a concise and comprehensive overview of the pathophysiology of a tremendous number of conditions, and is a must in any medical library.

I've always had a Merck Manual handy for information but this book takes it to the next level!!!!! So much info and education!!! Such a great buy!!!!

As advertised, went for a version with no notes in it. Good value/service.

Although dated it still serves a purpose. Have given this to my daughter in law and she is very happy as she is presently studying nursing and care.
