North East Ladies Nightie Button Through Nightshirt Brushed Cotton 3/4 Sleeve

I purchased this after having stomach surgery and finding literally none of my clothes or pj’s fit me. It was available on same day delivery so opted for the blue check and received in less than 10 hours from placing the order. It’s a loose fit size 8-10 but shaped so it’s quite flattering and looks good enough to answer the door in. Material is nice and soft and feels good quality and washes really well without the need to iron. At £12.99 this has been a brilliant buy and left me wanting to leave a review which is not something I usually do.

The smell was the first thing I noticed when I received the nightshirt when I opened the package. It was a very mechanical smell, like engine oil. The shirt was clean and looked nice but had an odd smell. I intend to keep the nightshirt as it fits well, but it needs a wash before wearing especially as it is meant for bedwear.

First wash with this item and plain dark items came out covered in white fluff. Assuming from this as not a problem before.

Great quality. Lovely colours. True to picture. Great value. It's a birthday present for a friend. Would buy again.

It appears well made The sizing is a e smaller than i expected side but i ordered a size bigger in case of shrinkage. I will update this review if it has any problems in the wash. It's an OK nightie for autumn/winter but maybe slightly overpriced and undersized.
