An awesome book!
Brilliant book! Cool packaging! This is so nice you won't be able to decide to display the book, the book display case (with sounds!), the slip-case it comes in, or even the outer cardboard carton - all look beautiful! This brings together a lot of elements from a lot of the various Transformers series (toy, comic and cartoon) to create a more co-ordinated history. It reads as a journal, of sorts, laid down by one the original Primes, starting at the very beginning with the battles between Primus and Unicron (described as historical events), then the efforts of the Primes to defeat the Chaos-Bringer and forge a society on Cybertron.I enjoyed this immensely, but being a long-time fan I couldn't quite fit it with everything it was trying to incorporate, although it does a very good job of weaving together previous comic and cartoon events. It works best, in my opinion, as a historical record of the 'universe' of the Transformers Prime series, which will continue in the 2015 Transformers Robots In Disguise cartoon.I highly recommend this to any and all Trans-Fans, as a beautifully presented book which pulls many of the key moments.

Awesome book, great addition to a collectors arsenal.
This book was brought as a gift for my other half but it is absolutely fantastic, the case it comes in is just as much fun as the book itself! The book has some gorgeous artwork and this is definitely something a collector should own. The story may not be to everyone's opinion of how the universe should be but it is still worth a read nonetheless, if you are a Transformers fan why don't you have this book yet?!

For the Transformers Geek
I had pre-ordered this as a christmas present, and forgot about it, so was completely surprised when I came home one day to find a huge parcel. It is a lot bigger than I expected but the recipient loves it. The case folds out while making a transformer noise to add effect.A brilliant present.

For true die hard fan's.
The book itself is a beautiful piece of Transformers history with equally beautiful artwork. The Autobot insignia casing is ok, the plastic feel's a bit thin and the "light's" are just reflective sticker's, but you can wall mount it..........WOOooo!*sarcasm*

The Transformers history and Holy Book.
Transformers: The Covenant of Primus is essentially the Transformers holy book, written from a first-person perspective by Alpha Trion and recording the history of the Transformers race from their origins until the current day.The book itself is a glossy hardback, relatively small - about 20cm x 20cm and only 180 pages or so - however it is extremely text heavy and so theres a lot of history crammed in here. This might not be to everyones liking, and those expecting a comic-book of sorts will be woefully disappointed. Whilst there are a good few images in the book depicting famous figures or events from Transformers history, and the quality of the art is very good, this is still essentially an educational book for Transformers fans. The continuity explored in the book appears to be that from the recent Transformers 'War for/Fall of Cybertron' console games, so how much you enjoy it may be determined by how much you liked those games. Whilst the games cross over pretty closely with the history of other Transformers continuities such as the G1 cartoon, 80's comic series and current comic series published by IDW, it is different in many ways and that may or may not be a problem for you.The subjects covered in the book include the origins of Primus and Unicron (that led to the creation of the Transformers race), the creation of the thirteen Primes (including a biography of each one), 'the war of the Primes' (where Primus creations were in conflict with each other), 'The age of Evolution' (recording the early days of Transformers life), 'The age of origins' (the development of Transformers civilization), 'The age of Wrath' (the vanquishing of the Quintessons), 'The Golden Age' (a period of prosperity, peace and development), 'The age of Rust' (where a near cataclysmic event almost led to Cybertrons ruin), 'The Great War', 'Exodus', and 'Earthfall'.The book comes contained within a large plastic Autobot symbol, the face of which slides open in three directions and makes a very realistic and loud transforming noise. Its very impressive looking and can additionally be easily mounted on a wall if you really want to show it off. The symbol itself is subsequently contained in a very large and impressive looking box.The only criticism I would have of the product is that youre paying an awful lot of money for what is essentially a quite small and concise book. Make no mistake, the majority of your cash is going on the very flashy Autobot symbol that holds the book and the glossy box cover, so if youre more interested in the history of the Transformers rather than an impressive but ultimately superficial display piece, then you might feel a little let down. Personally however I think theres enough of both here to keep most fans satisfied.

Awesome book
I bought this book as I'am a big Transformers fan and seen how cool this looked. After purchasing and opening this I was not disappointed. Awesome book to read about the history of the Transformers. The case the book came in is awesome and makes the transforming sounds as you open and close the case. I love this purchase that I bought a couple more to gift to other fans I know.

A CAIXA QUE ABRE É LINDA DEMAIS. E O LIVRO É MUITO MUITO BOM. RECOMENDO DEMAIS
VALE A PENA DEMAIS COMPRAR.

Ottimo
Ottimo prodotto, anche se lo stemma è più ingombrante di quello che si vede in foto ed è fatto in plastica, la qualità e la bellezza del libro non giustificano il costo eccessivo a cui si trova di solito

Holy Primus, Batman! The Covenant of Primus!
I, like many Transformers fans, have been waiting with bated breath for this books' release. And I was not disappointed when it arrived. The contents of this book are incredible. The artwork is stunning. The history of Cybertron is told in line with the Prime/War of/Fall of Cybertron continuity. This makes the most sense as it is the hot thing in the community right now. However, those wishing for a more G1 related telling of Cybertron's history may be disappointed. The story of the 13 original Primes is incredible and I couldn't stop turning the pages. The writing itself is sophisticated and the adult reader will be kept enthralled. However, that is not to say that this book isn't suitable for children. It may prove a challenge for some, but this book is definitely appropriate for a child to read as well. As for the packaging of the book, I believe that this is where the majority of the cost of the volume lies. The book comes in a case that is shaped like an Autobot symbol. This case comes apart and it complete with transformation sound effects. There is a peg in the back of the case as well in case you want to hang it on the wall. This case is cool and the sounds are awesome. However, it does feel a little delicate and I would recommend treating the case gently. The book and case also come in a larger box which is also nicely designed. When you receive it in the mail, the package you will get is huge compared to its contents. I bought this volume on sale, so it only came to about 60 bucks. I know when it was originally released it was almost 100. It's definitely worth the 60 I paid here for it, however 90-100 is a steep price. That being said, if you are a true Transformers fan or know someone who is, this book is a definite must-have. This is the so called definitive history of Cybertron and it is an exciting and emotional read. This is something that I would have hated to pass up. If you're in doubt about whether or not you want this, stop doubting! This is the book for the ultimate fan. You will love this if you get a chance to snag it, even with the heftier price tag.
