I love rotisserie style meat, like Doner Kebab. I have tried copying it many different ways that all failed unless you have the rotisserie grill which are expensive. This vertical skewer is amazing!! I just got a new oven with convection and air fryer option, so I was very excited to try this out. The meat in the pictures is chicken thighs, boneless and no skin. I made my own seasoning and then stacked them small to big on the shortest of the three skewers that come with it. It cooked so well and evenly. The pan is big enough I tossed some mini potatoes on half way thru. This was my first round with this skewer and it was A-maz-ing! So tasteful and cooked to perfection! I can't wait to try all kinds of other meats! I never thought this would be so great, the price is a bargain for how well this works. If you like meat, get this! I will be using it weekly! It's so easy to clean and compact to store, it takes up hardly any space. I love the three different size skewers and they are sharp, meat goes on without any effort. Also I'd like to note, the handles cool off fairly quickly once sitting on a table, so you can move it without burning your hands.

Purchased this to make Tacos Al Pastor. It worked perfectly. It is very well made, the metal is very sturdy. It comes with 3 different sizes of skewer to fit just about any purpose or cooker size. I would highly recommend this product to anyone thinking of purchasing one of these. Great product.

I love Mexican food, especially tacos al pastor, so I was excited to try the Al pastor skewer at home. This product is a vertical rotisserie that allows you to make your own al pastor meat with pork, pineapple, and spices. It comes with two plates, a skewer, a drip tray, and a recipe book.Here are the pros and cons of the product based on my experience:Pros:- The skewer works well and produces tender and flavorful meat.- It is easy to assemble and use. You just need to stack the meat and pineapple slices on the skewer and place it on the plate.- It is compatible with most ovens and grills. You can adjust the height of the skewer to fit your cooking device.- It comes with a recipe book that has instructions and tips on how to make al pastor and other dishes.- It is a fun and unique way to enjoy tacos at home.Cons:- The plates are smaller than I expected and not very sturdy. They are made of thin metal that bends easily.- The food sticks to the bottom of the plates and it is hard to clean them. You have to soak and scrub them for a long time to remove the residue.- The drip tray is not very effective. It does not catch all the grease and juice that drips from the meat. You have to place a baking sheet or foil under the plate to avoid making a mess.- The product is a bit pricey for what it offers. You can find similar products for cheaper online.The Al pastor skewer is a decent product that lets you make your own al pastor meat at home. It works well and delivers tasty results. However, it has some flaws that affect its quality and convenience. The plates are small and flimsy, the food sticks to them, and the drip tray is not very useful. This is so fun to use! It’s a bit of a challenge if you’ve never used it before but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy. Made some delicious dinners with this!

I’m making Al pastor taco’s and schwarma with this. Lends a sense of authenticity to your dishes. Before I got this, I was using bamboo skewers and a potato cut in half as the base. This of course is way better but I still use a potato on the bottom for a gentler heat.

When I tell you how excited I was to try this. I have done hacks and other DIY attempts and they've all failed miserably. Not sure why I never just looked into buying one, but this is so well done. Its sturdy and the spike are easy to screw on. It brings three different sizes to fit your recipe needs. It also brings 2 silicone brushes, 2 different sizes. This Skewer is so versatile, it will definitely be one of my favorite kitchen tools.

I like the fact that the tray can hold a lot of juices from the meat. It comes with various metal sticks so you can adjust it to your needs. Silicone brushes are included.
