mystery!
I like the comic-book drama on the box. I love how there are 26 surprises, making at least 26 opporutunities for a learning interaction. As a travelling teacher I'm always on the lookout for toys that I can control to entice engagment. Thoroughly satisfied.

Ok
First of all I'm a Montessori teacher and this material is not Montessori. Although it can be adapted to be so.Some objects are too confusing or complicated to guess where it belongs to, for example knife, doll, x-mas. Other objects are too big for the letter space assigned. The material is plastic for the objects and cardboard for the box.Too busy with all the colors and the objects are not similar to reality as it is expected for a Montessori material.I will be changing some of the objects and keep using the box and board.I don't recommend this product.

Good effort, but you'll want to use your own pieces instead:
This game is a great idea. It failed on the execution for a variety of reasons (detailed below) but it's quite salvageable with a little effort. If you're wondering what goes where, the back of the alphabet board has an answer key (of sorts). The premise of surprises out of a box is great for a toddler, but the choices made for pieces leave a lot to be desired, and some might be due to a language barrier on the manufacturer's part:Jigsaw puzzle (piece) for J isn't apparent for most toddlers. Same for doll for D, which was supposed to look like a cat, but came with a heart. I won't bore you with the rest.To increase replayability once your kid learns the answers, and to fix the poor choices made, change out the contents of the box with some of your child's toys (or new ones) to increase their vocabulary and possibly the difficulty level of the game.

Making ABC's Fun!
The media could not be loaded. Love the concept of this toy - it kept my 4 year old busy for a really long time since each toy he took out was a "surprise" and he was able to match each of them to the correct letter or picture. The toys are pretty decent quality, the best one was the drummer bunny (it's a wind up and pretty fun to play with). The board itself has two sides - one is just Letters and the other has the letter and a picture of the toy. We ran into a couple exceptions/oddities - one was a stuffed heart instead of a "Doll". This was confusing because we ended up having a toy missing for the letter "D". The other confusing toy was the Santa keychain which represented the "X" letter for "X-mas". For the price I believe these should be corrected - this isn't cheap.

Simplistic design easy for children to grasp
The toy is made from a simple concept of familiarizing small figures with the corresponding beginning letter of the item. This toy helps children familiarize themselves with letters associated with the item's actual name. While the initial play period managed to maintain our 4 year olds interest he quickly became uninterested once all of the pieces had been recognized. The toy lacks versatility which helps children focus on change a fun associated with helpful learning tools. The toy is made of durable materials and should maintain its function during play.

So cute!!
The media could not be loaded. What a neat idea! Kids love surprise boxes, and this one is educational as well. Each item came wrapped in plastic. Once you upwrap them all just toss in the box. The child pulls out one items at a time and matches it to the correct letter it belongs with. The reverse side of the board looks exactly the same, with the exception of also having the picture of the toy that belongs with the letter. This is nice for younger kids that still need help knowing what letter the item starts with. The side in the video is nice for older kids or testing their memory. I LOVE this so much. The board folds up small to travel or store. All the items fit back into the box perfectly.

Good educational toy
The media could not be loaded. The toy itself is not bad, the little toys are complete and the colors are perfect for toddlers. My concern and the reason of me giving it 3 stars is that it has a couple of toys that are very small! That is concerning to me because they are definitely a chocking hazard since this toy is intended to be for kids that are 1 year old and above. Definitely parent supervision is needed or simply remove the little pieces from the kit if you cannot be with your kid while playing with this set.
