I bought this for my 12 year old that plays soccer in ECNL hoping to gamify, track, and celebrate metrics he could quantify and see.Easy to setup using the QR codes but pay attention to the different QR codes in the box.I wasn’t sure how the app was going to work and you won’t know until you upload both training sessions and 3 games of data, there’s no demo and the screens in the app won’t be fully rendered until data is sync’d from a session.For games, I didn’t think to check if the league allows them as they aren’t standard parts of the kits / safety etc. so check if your league allows them.The metrics in the app won’t change quickly, if the recorded top speed in a game was 14mph, don’t expect that to increase every week or month! Same with other metrics, long term goals not short term, don’t buy this thinking the numbers change at an interesting rate.

A few college friends and I play soccer weekly and we bought Playermaker's CityPlay to see whether the numbers prove we are getting better. Not only has it been fun to compete with each other across the scores the app creates for us, but I have personally been able to see how I am getting better with practice. My ball control and non-dominant foot usage were my focuses and its great to visualize my performance change over time in the app since our scrimmages don't have coaches. Even playing for a team, my coaches as a kid could never compare to the amount of data the app shows me.TL:DR Pretty much a must-have to take your game to the next level in college and I can only imagine how much better I would be if I had this as a kid. Also, a lot of fun to compete with friends.

As a data analyst I was excited to get these for my son who is u12. I thought I would be able to take his data help him see and grow based on the reading. What i found was not quite what i expected. The sensors do track data and give you a nice layout of said data. However i found for my son just doing touches in the basement it did not count the number of touches accurately. 2nd the game readings are great when you get them. I have had multiple issue with these not picking up the game time and giving me a 10 min readout of touches. Trying to manually update the start time failed. cs was okay and tried to help but the fac tthat they appear to work sometimes is good, but still not fully accurate. The other issue I have with these is the battery life. The sensors in the case do not hold a charge. Meaning I have to leave them on the charger until i am ready to go to practice or game, give or take, i mean game day i can throw them in my bag. But With juggling everythign else to get the kids to the game on time, sometime these got forgotten which was super annoying. The few times i did throw them in my bag the day before i got partial readouts of the games as the sensors died on me. So with that being said, if these worked and consistently worked for me they would be great, 5 star. However the frustrations I had with these for the fall season were just more then the benefit. I will continue to use them as we roll into the spring season, but they left me wanting more.

This includes skills such as intense turns with or without the ball, improving speed of play by performing more one-touch possessions, and combinations of releasing the ball and accelerating.Within just a few weeks, she became the most dominant player on her team. Her agility improved significantly, allowing her to evade defenders and receive more passes from her teammates.Now more teammates have purchased CITYPLAY and also share their data with the coach, who guides them in defining their weekly objectives.

Incredibly not impressed. You need a subscription and it doesn’t automatically come with one and it seems impossible to even figure out how to get one. Very disappointing!

Bought this for my son. The tracker is fantastic. Had an issue with the harness but customer service was great and remedied the issue immediately.

Using them for nearly 18 months now. Both 1.0 and the latest 2.0 City Play version. That was the best purchase I could ever made for my 11 years old son to track unbiased progress of his development. Now 8 of his teammates have City Play as well.

I play football as a hobby, and I was looking at a way to make myself more statistic driven game-by-game.It really does do what it says, and I think it does it pretty well. The problem is, as a hobbyist, I don’t really get as much as I thought I would out of seeing my stats progress.I don’t need to get better, therefore I found eventually I didn’t really care for it and sold them away.If you are looking to become better, and play at any sort of level, these really can do the trick!

What an age we live in! They didn't have things like this when I was growing up! An excellent way to track your develpment as a player. My son has been using it for a while now and is thrilled to be able to watch his own develpment. A must have for any budding young football star.

Great for improving the area you have the most difficulty with.The app is easy to download, easy to use and you can see the areas you need to improve.The straps are a little big to fit a child's feet, so I believe it will be much better used by a teenager or adult.I chose it for my husband and he is very satisfied with the performance of this product.I would recommend it.

I gave this as a Christmas gift to my grandson. He was so excited to use them. But they won’t work. My daughter has been in touch ‘virtually’ but nothing seems to be working. We are now waiting to speak to someone. They clearly need to be replaced
